Guys I'm looking for a nice set of Poker chips. I've been on Walmart.com, Target.com and Amazon.com. I was wondering if any of you guys know of a good quality set. I want them durable and make the sound of real casino chips when you shuffle them in your hand. Anyone hear of Trademark brand?

Also, I'm looking for no more than 650 total chips in the set with the aluminum case. Don't want to spend no more than $100 either. Any advice would help. Thx guys! (<)<

Just go to a casino and buy a bunch of $1 chips. Might cost more than you want to pay, but you can sell them back at anytime. And on rare occasions even for more than what you paid

There are definetly some nice ones out there. Ebay is really your best bet but there are other sites if you dont mind paying more. Just google casino quality poker chips. You can spend quite a bit for the nice heavy casino type chips they arent cheap.

When buying online and in doubt, just look for the weights. Because the weight is what really gives your chips the "pro" feel. The absolute minimum you should buy is 8 grams but some people would tell you that even these are too light. If you buy anything above that, you should be just fine and the chips will feel great in your hands.

I think the clay ones are what they use in casino's
yea i think your right. the clay chips are the ones they use in the casinos. I just bought a house and I want all my buddies to come over annd play some tourneys and cash games. We play often, like $50-100 tournaments. and we play 1-2 cash no limit games alot. I just wanted to get a decent set. I think these will last awhile. I really didnt want to spend over $100. Once I get them this week I'll let you guys know. If I really don't like them and they are not waht I expected, then I will force myslef to get a better set. Thx for the info guys.

these are basically junk. worth about a penny a piece. if you want to learn about chips.....chiptalk.net

the guy who said to go to the casino was right. you can use them till you get sick of them and then trade them for new ones. You can pick up used paulsons on ebay or chiptalk for less than a buck a chip and you can always get your money back on them. do not be fooled by the official 11.5 gram official weight bull they feed you. Actual casino chips vary in weight from about 9 grams to 11 grams. If you see a top hat and cane around the outer rim of the chip, it is a Paulson. These are the best. They sell only to casinos and have security measures built in that you can see under black light. There is no sound like them. The sound you hear in the WSOP is the sound of Paulsons

guy I appreciate the feedback. I already said I do not want to spend over 100 bucks. I wasnt looking for someone to say the chips I bought are junk. I'm in my mid 20's guy and I play cash games with my buddies a few times a month and often in the summer. I have seen $400-$600 sets of chips that are legit. I'm not looking for a set that is "worth" alot of money. I'm just looking for a sturdy set that is decent.

Actually I have a set that is pretty much the exact same as the one you bought. They are nice heavy chips you will be satisfied with them and for the money you cant beat it. They arent quite as heavy or nice as casino chips but they definetly arent cheap shit.

Hopefully your friends don't go and get their own stashes of these chips and introduce them into the game one night. The case will end up heavy at the end of the night, but it'll be too late by then.
