FIRST OF ALL, LET ME START BY SAYING, SOME OF THE CRITICISM DIRECTED TOWARD BETWORKS WAS UNWARRANTED.....A LOT OF POSTERS FELT THE PRIZE THEY OFFERED WAS SMALL, BUT IN FACT, THAT IS WHAT THEY WERE ASKED TO PROVIDE, AND THEY SIMPLY AGREED......

AT THE TIME, THE RX DIDNT KNOW HOW MANY PEOPLE WOULD ACTUALLY JOIN UP IN THIS.....BUT SINCE WE NOW HAVE GOTTEN OVER 60 PLAYERS, AND GENERATED MUCH INTEREST, WE ARE PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THAT WE ARE GOING TO BE ABLE TO INCREASE THE PRIZES....

BEVERLY HILLS BOOKIE, HAS AGREED TO CO-SPONSOR WITH BETWORKS, THIS CONTEST.....BOTH BOOKS WILL BE OFFERING 250.00 ACCOUNTS TO THE WINNER, AND 150.00 ACCOUNTS TO THE RUNNER-UP.....AND TO MAKE IT MORE INTERESTING, BOTH BOOKS HAVE AGREED TO DOUBLE THEIR PRIZES FOR ANY PLAYER THAT IS A CURRENT PLAYER WITH THE BOOK BY JULY 15TH.

im still on banishment for a few more hours but im in the contest thread(ha ha).. thanks to betworks and bhb.. thanks to buc's and madcapper.. this should be fun, also can you tell me when the first part is over and what it takes to advance.. i think first part is over the last of july?? is that correct and what advances to next round? thanks in advance..

Rules are simple:

- Make 3 plays per night (Lines from Betworks. I will post the lines fromwww.betworks.com each day and we will use the lines I post.)

- 3 rounds.
> 1st round starts Tuesday June 24th and runs until and including the last day of July. The top 10 places will move on to the 2nd rd.
> 2nd rd starts the first day of August and goes until and including the last day of August. The top 5 places after rd 2 will move on to the championship round.
> Rd 3 - Championship round - Will start September 1st and go until the last game of the season.

- Plays will work as follows. For favorites it will be risking whatever the line is to win 1 unit (100 dollars). Example: If you take Yankees -190 that means you are risking 190 dollars to win 100. For underdogs it will be Risking 100 to win whatever the line is. Example: Cubs +145 means you risk 100 to win 145.

Deadline to post your plays will be 7:00 PM EST except on days when there are alot of day games. On those days the deadline will be 1:00 PM est. I will also be posting overnight lines from now on. Each day I will post the deadline time.
