I hope Lang likes Oregon Should be a great game, two solid teams who are not here by luck. We all want the W but who ever does lose still has much to be proud of, the last two standing out of the 120 and the first two who advanced in the playoff. Hopefully the Ohio State defense isn't spent after 3 quarters..

this can go either way .. i broke one of my commandments today and bet a favorite, luckily the colts were good.. I talked myself out of dallas and into gb.. dumb me.. I guess we all have our "ways" mine is I bet dogs only 99.9% of the time or i dont play the game, also I never bet ohio state as a favorite or against them. So obviously I am on the buckeyes, they have been a pretty good dog bet for me over the years. Because I think they can win the game I am also playing the ml.. as far as units i dont fire away anymore. After the bama - texas championship game a few years ago i got my mouth kicked in and vowed to stop the stupid money mgt. Whereas a regular play is 1 unit i will make both my plays 3 units as they are the last of the year and its the buckeyes for all the marbles.. bama/texas was like a 700 unit game and i lost the game and the second half chase, so i no longer play half bets either. I make the play and let if fall where it does. Its not going to make me rich or poor one way or the other.. I have said it all year that Oregon does not get the respect it is due, they are a solid team in every phase of the game. 6/7 years ago it was a system thing with them as they lacked size, depth, and athleticism, they were building something. It is built, they are here to stay and scare the shit out of me. There DL and secondary get little respect but they are as good and athletic as any out there. Great size and length.. They are solid.. some of my duck friends may disagree but i think they have probably the best head coach they have had yet.. Most guys who follow someone like Kelly see the program take a step back, they took a big step forward imo... I love watching them, wide open, fast, speed, size and they test your will to compete. Great program..Sacry team..

Good Luck Red Eye.. win or lose we both already won....losing to the Ducks is nothing to be embarrassed about. I have watched video of them a few nights this week.. I was worried about matching the bama power and physicality.. i think we won both categories in that game. Oregon scares the shit out of me to be honest ( as I said back on November 1st, a team no one will want to play come January ) .. a 7 point game can be a 28 point game in a blink of an eye with mistakes... QB has to be turnover free for us to have a chance.

moving on i took most the couple past years off betting cause i have little kids now but still like coming out to bet bowls/playoffs. i tend to like dogs in championship games as well. your input makes me more comfortable with osu in this one. as far as totals, do you think the under goes with an osu cover or they have a chance at winning in a shootout with the ducks?

i dont touch totals anymore they way the game has changed on the offensive side of the ball.... never know what will happen in a big game, if anything with the kids be nervous and adrenaline pumping it may be a slow starting game, first half under?

Sounds like me. Except i want to have it both ways. I want Oregon to win and I want to win my play. One secondary play that I really like is the 1st half under 37.5. I don't know exactly what Oregon will do in the first half, but Oregon plays a much different style of defense than Bama did. They play off the ball to prevent the big pass play, but they put a lot of pressure on opposing QB's to be able to complete the short timing passes out of the backfield. I think it could take Cardale Jones a quarter or two to adjust to that kind of defense. If you start forcing the ball in downfield, that's when you get into trouble with this Ducks D. They don't have a +20 turnover margin for nothing! Hopefully Ohio State will be able to run the ball on them to take a little pressure off the QB.

LoL red i ended up staying home today from work ( self-employed ) so i have flexibility, watching espn all day, they have done a nice job with pregame shows, you watching? I am really getting pumped up.. dont get me wrong i want to win but even if we dont get the W i am ok with it because I know our future is bright. We have lost 12 guys to season ending injuries, lost two guys for substance use ( rod smith not a big loss but noah spence was our best d lineman ) and tonight we start 11 freshman and sophomores.. i would like our chances so much more if JT Barrett was playing at QB tonight, that kid was something special this year.. jones still learning how to read defenses and makes to many mistakes .. Oregon eats you up and spits you out when you make the mistakes he does, luckily we got through them with Alabama.. Oregon probably more than any other team this year makes you pay for turning it over

here is another thought, any one agree?? was just talking to wife about the Oregon quick pace. Being a national televised championship game, will there be more commercials then a regular game? If so, this can be a huge help to the ohio state defense..
