Everything considered, probably my favorite casino in the entire LV valley, SUNSET STATION.

I absolutely loved Sunset Station, and that area of Henderson. I stayed there for 2 nights, and it is probabaly my favorite place in all of Vegas. I got some good pictures of the valley, too, from the elevated areas. Pretty cool to be at the top and look down into the valley.

Unbelievable how the town has changed since I just moved away 10 years ago. About half those listed werent even around then. My fav book tho is Rio. Those cocktail waitresses cant be topped. I applied there before they even broke ground and interviewed with the famous bookie Sonnie Rienzner. Kind of glad I never got hired. Mr Fish never had a good thing to say about the bookie biz.I

Welcome to NEW YORK NEW YORK, as grand as the city itself........would recommend you try the roller coaster, stop in at the piano bar on a Friday night, and check out the ESPN ZONE located within the complex.

The LAS VEGAS CLUB............the majority of visitors downtown never realize that the casino looks like a stadium from the outside(notice the ballpark like light towers around the casino).

Agree on the Cocktail Gals @ the Rio. NEVER saw as many great looking ladies in one place in my life. Also like all the Stations, relaxed w/very good food. Spent many hrs @ Boulder, haven`t been out since GVR & Sunset opened. Are they both out Henderson way? Mn has a long way to go to match LV in the class & pulchritude depts. About all the indians have are slots & BJ.

Yes, both SUNSET and GVR are located in Henderson.

GVR is part of a shopping mall. I was very surprised, as I thought it was secluded and by itself on like a golf course or something. I found GVR to be very overrated, and preferred Sunset Station by a lot. Henderson is nice, though.

Have lived all over the Vegas valley and Henderson was my favorite area in which to live, for a variety of reasons.

Glad you enjoyed SUNSET STATION, we are on the same page there.

no comparison between GVR and Sunset...

GVR is a top-notch upscale hotel and casino.

Sunset is OK, but it is not even close to GVR.

love the Orleans...they really sweat me when i play bj there though.

To each his own, but I personally like the sportsbook layout better at Sunset.

I also find the restaurants to be better overall than at GVR..............as the Italian Cafe and the Steakhouse at SUNSET are outstanding! Not to even mention the oyster bar.
