What's a good sportsbook in Vegas for Sunday football? Any place have free drinks?

Going there Sunday with a bunch of people so want to make sure they also have decent space to relax... I am staying at Venetian so somewhere close would be nice.

You already know Sunday's are madness during football season. Finding a seat close to kickoff time is difficult.
If you are betting $50 or more, you should get a few drink tickets for each wager. If you are betting in the 100s they should give you half dozen.
Bellagio is the only place I know that gives free drinks. At least they did a year ago.

Presto.. I have never been in a sportsbook in Vegas. The 2 times I went there all I did was table games and partied. This will be the first time I am there for more then a night. I usually stick to AC.

PokerN... I will check out Venetian...

Take a cab to SUNSET STATION or GREEN VALLEY RANCH...........the former being my first choice.

No better place in the entire valley to watch the NFL than at SUNSET imo.

I've stayed at Venetian a couple of times and found the sportsbook to be pretty good there but it'll be busy on an NFL Sunday for sure. I think in the past, waitresses just got drinks for anyone who looked like they belonged but have heard rumors they might have gone to drink tickets based on wagers.

You've also got The Mirage and Wynn right across the street there and Caesars a few steps away. A nice area of the strip for sportsbooks.

I was somewhat suprised that when I went down to place my bets at about 8:30 vegas time (games start at 10), me a group of a few people could have got a seat at both sportsbooks I visited easily.

I like FH's idea though, nothin wrong with gettin off the strip when it will be worth it. Have fun man

Bellagio is far and away my favorite book if you want to spend an entire day watching and betting on football. You want to make sure you'll be comfortable, and every one of their chairs is a nice leather recliner in a plush atmosphere. The cocktail waitress still came around pretty regularly, and I don't remember any drink ticket BS the last time I spent a day there (March Madness).

Problem is...you do have to get there early if you want a seat. A buddy of mine and I go every year and we get there at least an hour before any games. One of us will keep 2 chairs while the other goes and grabs some breakfast, plays BJ for a while, etc. Then I'll come back and hold the chairs while he goes off until gametime. It goes by pretty quickly, and since games start at 10am, you're not waiting around for very long.

I'm not sure who here likes Mandalay Bay, but unless you have a table reserved, you're going to be sitting on crappy folding chairs all day long (at least it was that way about a year ago). I've heard good things about Sunset Station...I definitely want to check that out soon.
