Good hotel rates in Vegas on the strip on a friday?? is it possible?

Is it possible to fine a room on the strip for under 100?? on a friday

There are plenty of "dumps" on the strip well under $100......even some "average" hotels. Shop around and you will get some really decent ones for $79-99 no sweat.

Try the Stardust. Rooms were about $100 a night for the weekend nights and I found the rooms to be above average. Most were re-done in the last 3 years and every restaurant in the property was suprisingly good. We gambled about $15-$20 a hand for 3-4 hours a day and not only were the dealers suprisingly very friendly, they were helpful on quite a few occasions and they comped two meals each day we were there.

From now til Dec 24 is always the slowest couple of weeks in Vegas.

Yes, the National Rodeo is here, but that is nothing like a major convention, and it's too close to Xmas for major conventions.

Good rates should be available at hotels.com and similar sites for this time of year.

BTW, it is so slow that a lot of the shows take some time off from now until Dec 24.

Starting Dec 25, it gets very busy again.

The city is very slow in December. Two years ago, I got a room at The Venetian for under $100. Many shows are closed for a few weeks, etc. but you can get great rates. It's a great time to go.
