I played Ole Miss, but it wouldn't surprise me to see LSU win. I don't see how you could go big on this game one way or the other though.
If Alabama was playing LSU today, Bama would be at least an 8 point favorite. I point that out just because I think there are some "free" points left on the table just because people aren't respecting Ole Miss (which is why they've covered their last 8 games).
For Lsu to win, I think they are going to have to get points from defense or special teams. And Bo hasn't turned it over in an SEC game this year and our special teams coverage has been great (outstanding punter).
Exactly. The only way you make your largest wager of the year on this game is if you're simply a stomped-down fan.
I like LSU's chances today.
The campus is charged up and the fans will be into the game like no other this season. And, since Ole Miss is relevant for the first time since Kennedy was President.....they will get LSU's full attention. Let's be honest, LSU has historically (within the last 40 years) overlooked Ole Miss and it has led to some upsets....but this year, the Tigers are pumped up for the game.
Respectfully disagree with you ole Pete. Maybe my Tigers come out and surprise me, but the team I've watched this year looks like it's going to have trouble moving the ball consistently. I'm not as optimistic as you, and while some will say that makes me a bad "fan", I say I'm just a level headed individual. LSU is getting a lot of respect here for being Saturday night in Death Valley, but the team just doesnt match that hype. My money is on Ole Miss, and I feel pretty good about the bet.Exactly. Hilarious coming from the guy who still can't tell my what it is about LSU's offense that says they can score here. Also coming from the same guy that says Ole Miss is "lucky" while creating turnovers.
And what is a "stomped down fan"? What does that even mean?
I've told you what it is that makes me select LSU today.....you just don't want to hear it.
Good luck with your largest wager of the year.
