Just small stakes to give us something to play for. We play dollar skins and greenies. And I'll usually bet heads up with a couple golfers from my group. We go $5 front and adjust, back and total. We're all fairly even so I never lose a whole lot. And if I'm having a bad day I can still usually manage to win a couple skins or greenies.
I play 4 or 5 times a week when I'm home.
I always play my best golf by myself and that kind of sucks because 1) I don't play by myself that often. 2) I can't bet and make money when I'm playing by myself. 3) When I do bet I usually lose because I'm distracted by my company.
I tend to not pay as much attention to my game when I'm with others and it hurts my game.

1-3 times per week. Gamble almost every time I play. Usually the stakes are between 20-50 bones.....depending on the game and the handicaps of the others in the foursome. My club has tourneys once a month and the take home for 1st in the flights is usually around 400-600.

A fun game to play is a putting game.
If you are outside the flagstick length away from the hole, you can "call it" if you want......If you 1 putt it, everybody in your group owes you a dollar, if you 2 putt it, no blood. If you are unfortunate enough to 3 or more putt, than you owe everybody in the group a dollar.
It gets real interesting.
