Looking to set up a game in Vegas on the Friday?

Was wondering how many of the boys going to the bash hit the links and would like to get a game in? And if someone could suggest a few good tracks?

Hey There, I had suggested this a while back.....I doubt we can get any type of organized scramble but I know we can start a list in this thread and I'm sure we can all come up with a plan or maybe Glenda at GN could help out....I remember Steve W lives in Vegas and it'll pretty much be a deal where each has to call in and reserve a tee time once we come up with a site....maybe Doberman could help out there....I'm about a 9-13 handy depending on the day, btw...The Mod here dante may be able to help out a bit with names etc.

Some of my buddies used the site below when they came into town in April. They have a feature where you put in what day you want to play and how much you want to pay on it. I don't golf much myself though so can't be of much help.

On the weather, if you are off the course by noon it probably won't be too bad. It doesn't really get hot out here (I know its all relative) until about 2pm and then it just cooks until it gets dark. Also in August we get occasional monsoon rains and those are almost always in the late afternoon so good to do things early. I just advise you not to step off the plane and onto the course, give yourself a day or two to get acclimated and of course drink lots of water, not beer.

If you guys get a chance, play Revere. Beautiful course. Also anyone wants a cheap round, go to the municipal course. Not bad for the price.

Ronald all posters are eligible - no invitation necessary. You just need to show up at the Golden Nugget during the weekend of August 19th. The Poker Tournament and the Rx. Bash Dinner are scheduled for Aug. 20th at the Nugget.

If you want to stay at the Nugget you can get a comped room for the 19th and 20th by contacting Glenda at the Nugget by either Email gtangen@goldennugget.com

Or call 1-800-777-4658 and ask for Glenda (Ext 8337). Tell her you are a poster at The Prescription and would like to attend the Rx. Bash.

If you don't play for money then why play? I'm just the opposite, if there's no game then I don't play. I'd rather go to the range and practice if there's no cash on the line. But in the nature of fairness, Ken, I'll give you 1 a side if we ever get to play together. And I'll let you press anytime. GL with your new site.

LOL...Club....Good Gawd!!.....That post was back like 6 months ago....you remember when Dante still liked girls and Blue Edwars lived in a blue state....

Seriously...we need to all get our shee-ite together...I am getting to the GN on Thursday the 18th and I will be glad to co-ordinate some golf action on Saturday morning....we'll probably have to keep it around 28-32 posters with a very early tee time.

Any thoughts welcome....as I am clueless most days, G
