Not sure as to which way to go here, but the 5 inning lines didn't seem as solid as the game. Lilly could be solid here or have an off day at Wrigley. I'm seeing a lot of runners on base. The question is will they get driven in. I think they will.

Another thing you have to consider when capping this game is the STL pen which is atrocious. Even if Looper pitches well, which is a probability, unless he pitches 9 full innings, he has to hand it over to the pen, which the Cubbies should be able to eat up.

Looper has given up 9 HR in his last 6 starts. Lilly has given up 7 in 6 starts. Even w/ a light wind blowing in, we could still see some balls jacked out.

Yeah bro. I'm pretty confident in this play.

Shit Cubs have shown us this week they can put up 8 in an inning alone.

Might as well explain a little about why I'm on the U. The fact that Lilly has 4 QS since the break, and Looper has given up less than 3 ER in his last 3 starts. Though if you break down Looper's season, the games seem to go low, high, low, high.

I see this game going Cubs 5-2. Pujols will be able to get his, with Ludwick providing the only offense.

I just don't see Lilly caving in this one. His last game vs. the Cards only saw 2 ER with a 5:1 K:BB ratio over 6 IP. I see him going 7 1/3 deep this afternoon. Lilly is a solid play, definitely, as he knows how to pitch against this offense.

But, of course, only time will tell.

4 of last 5 Lilly starts vs STL all went over. When you look at the Looper side however, 4 of 5 went under. So arguements can be made for both sides. However, you always have to consider the pens as well. We all know how bad the STL pen is. They are capable of giving up 3 to 5 runs themselves.
