I hear a lot of them are going to 6-5 when you hit a blackjack instead of the common 3-2. I want to change my reservation to a hotel that hasn't stooped to this low. Thanks.
a very informative sight is www.bj21.com. they have a free message board that would be ideal for this subject. unfortunately, quite a few of the strip casinos have this horrible game available and people that don't know any better are playing it. when i was in vegas in september, i found several decent double deck games. they were at the palms, hard rock, flamingo, imperial palace, and i believe the excalibur. i'm sure there are more available than that. go to the website i suggested, i'm sure they'll help you out.
Park Place casinos are the ones that originated the 6-5 bj payoff. It has spread to others as well, I believe. Downtown is your only shot for single deck with "true odds" these days.
PPE casinos: Caesars, Bally's, Paris, Flamingo, O'Shea's.
As of March none of the places I visted on or off the strip had 6-5 ONLY. Most had a couple of tables of 6-5 single deck and far more regular shoe games. If you are looking for single deck 3-2 then I can't help you there.
BTW, if Super Bowl weekend is the biggest cockfight in Vegas then the first weekend of March Madness has to be the second biggest.
