I will Note that, even though I didn't say it Before....But I Believe you Figured it out Anyway.

My Upgrade is from Toshiba, which I had to show POP, Model #, etc....
So I will guess, even though they ask to Back up My Files ( because they ar My files ) and a recovery disc...just in case something goes wrong.

The other thing they ask is to Contact software Vendors , to find out if they will run on Windows.

When I got this Laptop, I knew I was going to Update to Windows 7.
So I Did Very Little of Anything, as far as Software.

Everything on here is Microsoft, and the only other Program I have on her is Sportsoptions.
Which I can just Download again.

I Guess we will find out soon enough...

Once you're done with Windows 7 upgrade...you "MUST" re-install every software application that you want to use....this include sportsoption, firefox, MS Office, Adobe etc...

Another word it only has Windows 7 software...and that's all...

Figure I would just jump onto my other computer, and give out an Update

Vinnie you were right, seems that the Disc Toshiba sent me, will tell me what I Do need and Not.

It will tell what Software to Uninstall, and will tell me what i will need if anything , After I update Windows 7

Just to let Others know...Not sure if this is with Every Computer, BUT
I did'nt have to Upload Sportsoptions.

So far everything is there, even my Favorites. Adobe is there.....My Moblie Wireless is still there.

And I'm Very Happy @):)

Thanks Again for all your Help Vinnie.

If Myself or anyone I know...needs some Tech work, I'll be sending them to You ! ( are you in that type of Business ?? )

Great job....I believe since you have the Toshiba disc...it's tailor-made for your laptop...and it just add the necessary drivers for your Windows 7 without removing any other software...If you were to do a clean install...it would wipe everything off your c drive and install Windows 7 software...This is why you would need to re-install new drivers cuz all the old ones got deleted...

Yes..i am working with computer networking for living and do a lot of PC fix/repair/upgrade work on the side...

I can always user referrals if you or anyone might have...

Will do :103631605

The only thing they asked me to Uninstall was ATI, which I believe is a Graphics Card or something.

Not sure the Windows 7 disc had a Replacement, but i will ty to check and see if something is there.

Betallsports,
Prior to migrating to Windows 7 it would be best to download and run the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor.
The Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor will determine if your current computer configuration will be compatible with Windows 7, for further information as well as a link for download please go here: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-7/get/upgrade-advisor.aspx
Another resource to verify compatibility is available at the Microsoft Windows 7 Compatibility Center located at the following link: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-7/en-us/default.aspx
When migrating from Windows Vista to Windows 7 you will have the option to select "custom" or "upgrade" install when prompted. By selecting the "upgrade" option, your documents and applications will follow and carry over through the install process. If you select, "custom" however you will be able to perform a clean install and all applications will have to be reinstalled manually -- documents will be moved to a folder entitled "windows.old".
For additional assistance with the migration of Windows Vista to Windows 7, Microsoft does have an official Windows 7 Support Forum located here http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/category/w7itpro/ . It is supported by product specialists as well as engineers and support teams. You are welcome to check the threads there and receive additional assistance and feedback.
