Just a few thoughts...

Take the El to the game, not a cab or walking.

Get there early and go to Murphy's before the game.

I prefer Lou Malnati's to Uno's personally.

Signature Room on the 95th floor of the Hancock makes for a nice post-game cocktail.

I love Goose Island on Clark for a post-game beer (GREAT beer there).

I personally prefer Gibson's to Morton's if you're going for steak. You should go to one of the two if you have time.

Damn, I agree with all of the suggestions here. Love Goose Island.

Closest casino is about a 30 minutes away, the Horseshoe in Hammond Indiana. It is very nice, newly remodeled. http://www.horseshoehammond.com/casinos/horseshoe-hammond/hotel-casino/property-home.shtml

WHen are you getting into town on Sunday?

I love Buddy Guy's Legends, great blues bar on Wabash. http://www.buddyguys.com/

Ayuh...My first thought as well when I saw the Thread Title

That is, make sure and walk the right streets to catch some good blues. Not for nothing, but some of the best is likely to be found in the less popular venues.

Lou Malnati's is a better pizza choice. The Horseshoe Casino is your best option, its a real nice Casino. All The Bars around Wrigley offer a little something for everyone, so just explore and check them out, all of them are in walking distance from the park. Don't forget to get a Chicago Style HotDog in the park.

you are far enough north...for

OLd Town..nice bars..and food...

Rush Street...if ya like the nite life...(some nice restartants, as well)..

I definitely agree with the suggestion of taking your woman to the Signature room on the 95th floor of the Hancock Building. I heard the food blows and have never eaten there. But the view in the evening/night is awesome...best views of the city. Plus I think it costs like $10 a person to get to the observation deck of the Hancock so for the same price you can at least lounge at a nice table and drink over priced alcohol.

If the weather is nice check out the architectural boat tour....always a good time.

I've never had Lou Malnati's but I really like Pequods deep dish pizza. And if you go to Pequods, there is a Goose Island brewery across the street.

The casinos around here pretty much blow. Don't waste your time.

The El to the game is definitely the way to go. You'll pay out of you ass for a cab cause the meter will run while you sit in traffic.

Take you wife on a walk to Millenium and Grant Parks. Not too much to see (besides that fountain that started every episode of Married with Children), but my woman always like taking walks down there.

There are tons of great places to eat here. Don't go to a random chain. If you want i'm sure myself and all the other people who live in Chicago can give you a bunch of recommendations depending on what you wanna eat.

Not sure how old you are...but I'd stay away from the Rush/Division area for night life....its all 50 year old dudes wearing shiny shirts trying to hook up with 20 year old chicks.

ask for Mike or Brittnie as your guide. I've lived in Chicago damn near all my life and it was the best 2 hours I've had downtown short of a NYE party at the Hilton for the Millenium.

If you don't have an agenda, I'd be happy to suggest anything else. Feel free to PM me... a couple quick likes/dislikes for food, nightlife (comedy, broadway, etc.)

If you're into art the modern wing just opened or is this weekend at the Art Institute. Happy to help, and PS FUCK CANADA!! Go blackhawks :103631605

Gotta disagree with the suggestion for Buddy Guy's Legends. I was psyched to visit last summer but it was a HUGE let down. It's kind of a dumpy place with an OK stage are and some pool tables. If there's somebody there you REALLY want to see and dont mind a crappy atmosphere, that might be fine, but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit it
