Going on tilt in poker, not always bad

I play at Absolute Poker, usually play 10/25c nl. Was having a rough start, got on tilt and went to 25/50c. Within 5 minutes, the bad beat jackpot was hit. I was playing 10 tables at the time, and im not even sure if i was at the table it was hit or not. But I got over $1000 for it.

Anyone know the exact payouts for it? I knew everyone playing the same stakes as the table it was hit at gets something, but did everyone get over $1000?

I guess it was $200 per table, but only 5 of mine were jackpot tables.

Just the people at the table of where the bad beat happened is getting money. Not sure how they pay but most times its something like this

50% to the person that took the BB
25% to the person that gave him the BB
25% split between the rest of the table.

So You play poker and have no clue on how BB works. You should try to know all the rules and jackpots before playing.

Not online. He just told you he won 1k on 5 different tables (200 per).

• 25% rolls over to the next Bad Beat Jackpot
• 10% goes to the house

Of the remaining 65%

• 50% goes to the Bad Beat victim
• 25% goes to the winner of the hand
• $1K goes to every other player at the Bad Beat table
• The remainder is divided between everyone playing the same game type and limit when the Bad Beat goes down.
