To be honest, I have the Kentucky Wisconsin game lined at about a pick. 5 points is insane to be giving a team with 3 losses this year who i believe was a dog only once. Tougher schedule, more experience, better coach, and a bit of revenge from last years one point ff loss. Also, in what should be a tight one, the badgers ranked 12th in free throw %. Kentucky ranked 68. That excludes harrison of course, whom I believe has alligator blood.

On a neutral court, giving the badgers 5 points is a must play. Im seeing plus 220 on the ml, which is an incredible value, but the points get the lion share of my hard earned. The way the refs called the arizona game has given me slight trepidation, badgers got called for less fouls than any team in the last 10 years but somehow arizona shot 30 free throws which they hit 28. Wow.

I love the way frank the tank and dekker been attacking and I think the UK will be surprised by the athleticism of the badgers. In no scenario do I see wildcat 6 point win and I really think wisconsin pulls this one out.

To be frank, like both the pups Saturday, each getting five. Izzo's squad will fight tooth and nail with the Devils, Okafor is a match-up problem, but I think Sparty's guards will keep it close.

You may be right, but I don't think UK will be surprised by Wisconsins athleticism. They played last year and UK got the rim at ease. Wisconsin may win, but it's hard for me to back them with their 1.16 DE defense. I honestly think Frank won't be much of a factor. Last year, Dakari played him very well and now Dakari is the 3rd best big man (behind Towns and Cauley-Stein).

The biggest thing is if Wisconsins great offense can score on UK's great defense. If they can, they have a great shot at winning straight up, but one thing is for sure, UK will score on Wisconsin. Should be a good game overall.

I hope oped you hit your +5 and UK wins straight up ;)

Few things stand out to me. Wisconsin does not turn the ball over, they do not allow offense rebounds, they shoot free throws well and they do not foul ( the last 5 minutes of the arizona game aside where it felt like they were getting whistles against them every time zona had the ball, the cats shot 30 foul shots. 30.) With Kentucks size, they have the luxury of just dumping the ball down and exploiting obvious size advantages on the blocks. Not sure they can do that saturday.

Either way, its going to be a hell of a game.

Much of Kentuckys offense is generated from offensive rebounding. For every 5 misses, they rebound 2, which is extraordinary. Problem is, the badgers allow you to grab less than 30 % of your bricks. If you ve played basketball, you realize the importance of boxing out. Wisconsin has both the fundamentals and the size to limit the cats possessions to one and done.

They allowed 9 to UNC, whom like uk, crashes the boards w vengence. They then allowed only 3 to arizona.

I played on nd last week, and to be honest, it felt good. With some serious bad beats and just terrible decisions coupled with my lack of discipline, this b ball season has been a disaster. Even when I followed some of the very good cappers here, I just never got in a rhythm. Playing their losses, sitting out their wins..etc. The irish game was enjoyable, because I knew the books had fucked up. We all know, it dont happen often. Kentucky continues to be over valued and I have been perfect with them in the tourney. Cincy is horrible. WVU just a perfect match up for the cats. That freshmans prediction, maybe poked the bear some. Nd, if grant doesn t go all Carmelo last few possessions, who knows? Caliparis face said it all.

When playing against a squad like uk, dont turn it over, dont take stupid shots, get back on defense, and box out. Wisconsin has mastered all of those. 5 points in this game is an absolute joke. This game will get me out of the hole. Or it wont . Regardless, I am all in on the points here.

Any college basketball line at 5 or less you basically need to pick who the straight up winner will be IMO. If you're team is winning toward the end it is easy to turn a 4 point lead into 10+ by the end with some made free throws and missed three pointers by the other team. I don't see anyway Whiskey wins this game. If UK was going to lose this tournament it was meant to happen last Saturday.

Wisconsin will have UK's full attention from the start and they have had a full week to prepare, unlike the ND game.

Also, this is not a completely "neutral" site game. It's in Indianapolis about an hour away from a boatload of Kentucky fans. You can bet the stands will be more blue than red Saturday night.

Fan support, at this point, is a non handicapping factor with the quality of the teams involved. These teams can pretty much win anywhere they play ... home, away or neutral court. Kentucky has won everywhere, Duke won at Wisconsin and Wisconsin lost at Rutgers (no Kaminsky). No one team is going to have an advantage because more of their fans are attending. A coach once told me fans are great but none of them are coming out of the stands to help me win a game.
