With a fragile mindset like that it's only a matter of time until a person makes a scared-money plunge bet and loses everything, so either go ahead and do it now or, better, change your way of thinking and focus on the long haul. There are something close to 180 betting days left until the regular season ends. One day's outcomes -- or one week's outcomes -- don't matter very much.
If you do make an all-in plunge bet, even if you win, I'd say odds are 70 percent or better that you'll eventually do the same thing again and be out of the game by the All-Star break.
