GoGo says its nice to have the NFL back and looking forward to another successful season. Week 1 can be tricky but they key is to look to play on teams you expect to have strong seasons and play against teams that you feel will under achieve this year. Particularly in Week 1 look for a team with something to prove (maybe some offseason adversity, etc) and one that is looking to make a statement loud and clear. Coming off a nice rare pre-season Triple win lets get this party started.

2006-2008 combined NFL Regular Seasons
55-33-3 Triple Banko
91-84 Regular Banko
146-117-3 overall +53.65 units

Colts -7 Triple Banko
Jax 17
Colts 38

Good luck says GoGo.

regular banko = 1 unit
triple banko = 3 units

Is this correct? Do you play double bankos? Thanks and good luck this season!

Correct, fundamentally and for record keeping purposes. During the season will personally play some regular's for around 2 units and some triples for more than 3. When this happens GoGo will allude to it in the thread. Haven't tracked those but believe that when they come up they have hit at higher percentage than listed for single and triples. How you play a Triple versus a regular really depends on your own bankroll and what percentage of your bankroll you risk on each game. But at a mimimum suggesting a 3-1 ratio on whatever percentages you personally use. Most followers only play the triples anyway. May try and put something up on the blog this week to further help folks with money management as it relates to these plays.
Good luck to you as well this season.

man, im on the other side of you on this one. Usually agree with your triple bankos.

Indy has too many questions I believe, new coaches, no bob sanders, no starting DT. Jax always play them tough in indy. Jones drew should run wild. And call me crazy but anthony gonzalez isn't quite insync with peyton yet.

Be careful Jones Drew may not be 100% with that bruised shin..Read an article today that he is still really pissed off at the block/tackle that casued the injury. May be nothing but something to note

Comment: Jones-Drew (bruised right shin) sounds like he plans to practice Wednesday, the Associated Press reports. "I'm looking forward to practice Wednesday, that's about all I can tell you," he said. "I'm taking the Bill Belichick way out."

Its interesting. Most regular gamblers will look at the opening line of 7.5 and say are you kidding? Jax always plays Indy tough so that is a steal. Yet the linesmaker put a decent size number out there knowing this. Most casual fans will look at Indy and say they may be in disarray with their coaching change. But reality is Jax, coming off last season, is just a few ugly games away from total implosion. Maybe not even a few games but one bad first half. This team has little confidence and given the personnel moves of Del Rio and upper management last year and this year, you can bet this locker room is a bit divided which is never a good thing. On the other side very little has changed in Indy from a continuity standpoint. The head coach obviously knows this team and Peyton very well so certainly no panic button in Indy to start the season.

Regarding the running game, Drew healthy or not, this team has a very untested and unstable offensive line to start the season. The Oline is the most important unit in football and requires sometimes seasons to really gel and play well. There is no gel with Oline to start the season so little reason to believe they may be able to run the ball effectively. Would actually not be surprised to see more passing out of Jax this year.

Regardless, good luck.
