Great play. I love how everyone is saying SD is the hottest team in NFL right now. It's laughable. Got a miracle win at KC, beat TB, which was a good win, but not that good considering Oak beat them as well, and beat a Broncos team that has just collapsed! Indy has rolled off 9 in a row and has beaten some stiff competition. Indy wins here and I think may very well go to SB.

Indy hasn't lost since Oct 27 to Tenn hard to belive they are not the hottest team in the NFL right now.

I'd say they are, but after the game last night, Costas and Co. went on about how SD is the hottest team right now, etc. I also think Al and John were talking along those same lines. Ridiculous.

Way to go, GoGo. I love your posts and always respect your plays.

Indy does seem like a team "on a mission".

Even yesterday, Manning plays one series, and goes 7-7 for 95 yds and a TD.

SD finishing out the season as they did 4-0, and being the home team is the scary part.

Hate to bust up your banko, but SupaChargers WIN this thing! :money:

Based on what? Beating the Broncos who lost to Buffalo, Oakland and Jax at Home. Or beating TB who lost to Oakland at home. Beating KC by a complete miracle? Sorry, SD IS NOT that good of a team. They should be, but they are not. Indy is a great team and Peyton will slice through SD D. Cutler actually did pretty well vs. the secondary, but unfortunately made very bad decisions, Manning doesn't make bad decisions.

This game is a toss up to me, but I will play devils advocate and give reasons behind the Chargers winning.

1. They are playing at home
2. They should have beat Indy a few weeks back
3. Yes Indy is hot but it isnt like they are blowing people away.
4. The defense isnt that great, and if Manning is a little off I could easily see SD winning this game.

My main feeling is that i think SD bumbled away that last game against Indy.
I feel they are better now, confident, and ready to roll.
I also feel that Indy is a better team indoors, so a very good loud home field advantage will help the SuperChargers.
I also feel that you still have something against the chargers for covering in pittsburgh, and i think that will hurt you in this game!

dont get gogo started, i have always been a fan of the Triples, but just not this one.

however, i do notice this, when one bets against a team that they want to see lose, or a team they like to win, it more than not ends up in a losing wager. so a gambler should have no favorites, and no hated teams, to be completely objective... emotion is bad for a gambler...

now i have nothing against indy and i forgave the superchargers for blowing it in buffalo and in england. in fact i really like indy for coming back big against the texans and cashing for me!

I think i am being completely objective and i have to take SD.

Peace :toast:

Decent points but only the home field point really is valid. LOL on the last point as don't hold grudges on wagering. In fact have wagered successfully on San Diego since the fix. Here are some things to consider:

1. Quality wins- SD's only quality win this season was against NE earlier in the year. They have been in games but with a spread of -1 only wins count here. On the opposite side Indy has at least 5 such quality wins which again were mostly close games. But this solidifies that Indy knows how to win competitive games against quality opposition where SD does not.
2. Experience- Indy again with the edge here particularly in the playoffs. Indy has proven to be able to show a 2nd gear come playoff time where as SD has not. And you need a 2nd gear in the playoffs.
3. Coaching- similiar to #2. Don't think Norv can coach big games. Dungy has.
4. Defense- don't see Indy defense getting torched here especially with Sanders in the lineup. On the flip side Denver could have easily put up 30 plus points last night if not for coaching (not running the ball) and the usual Denver dropped passes and mistakes. You know Indy's game plan and adjustments to attack that defense will be solid and they won't make the same mistakes and drops.
5. Emotion- yes this is a playoff game and both teams will obviously have their head in the game. But don't underestimate the amount of energy SD has had to expend the last month of the season and particularly last night against Denver. Have watched enough similiar situations over the years to know there is a good chance SD could be tired and somewhat flat particularly as the game progresses. Indy will face a buzzsaw in the first quarter but assuming they survive that first quarter, which they should, they should control this game.

Good luck either way.

:103631605 Your the man gogo.

I, however, think its dungy's best interest is to not run the ball as much as possible. Other than having balance in their lineup. I had JAX in the Night game vs INDY and indy was better off not running...How does JAX run D fair VS SD?

Not implying Indy should run the ball. Just saying they will show some balance, if necessary, unlike the dopes in Denver.

Well said GoGo
I think #5 is hard to judge for both SD and PHI.... They both put alot out there in week 17 beating rivals.
But for SD i alomost think that denver was more like a practice session because the broncos are so awful on defense.....

Either way the ball bounces here, Enjoy the Game and Good Luck! :toast:
