god damn i suck at betting

Portland game....I have portland and over...,,normally play the game...but I was tilting a bit when NJ f'd up the 2nd half in the closing seconds....and the houston collapse....here is how I distributed it:

Portland 1st qtr - 2 unit Loss
portland/LAC over 1st qtr - 1 unit loss
Portland 1st half - 2 unit Loss
portland/LAC over half - 1 unit win
portland game - 1 unit win
portland/LAC over game - 1 unit win
portland/LAC over 2nd half - 1 unit win

So on a game where I correctly get the side and total, I end up going 4-3 and LOSE money cause I had more units on portland early!

If you're confident with portland then just take the spread for the game. Why bet 7 times on one game. You're just asking to lose that way.

I'm not gonna lie....I wanted to play 2 units half, 1 unit game on portland...(I thought the half was easier instead of giving 10.5)

i relized I put it on the 1st qtr instead of the 1st half.....so I said I better add the half.....figured I should let it ride as it was destiny.....destined to LOSE!

Let's say I go Portland....I want to cheer for them the entire game but if they are covering at the half, I feel like I wasted a winning pick.....I don't wanna cheer the other way, so I end up playing half and game......hoping I win half and can get off a middle w/ the 1st half already a winner

those are just action plays that will not win in the long run....... play full games only and 2nd half plays when u see value.......

yeah....during football season I completely ignore basketball....I actually did better in NFL than in NCAAF but my NFL was posted in the tracker forum, not the NFL forum.

trying to get into the groove of things....hopefully I can stop getting my ass handed to me soon.
