If you donated pre-Jan 11th you have to opt in for the donation to count, so I'd assume a lot that did so will realize at this point this isn't legitimate and have to be refunded.

And like Pats said the people that have donate a majority wont care or have already written it off...so he will pull in millions in the end.

While I applaud the intent and effort as it makes for patriotic display of American resolve
I question if it will actually make a difference.

When it's all said and done the money will have to be turned over to the Congress to be
appropriated.

What's to say the Congress will spend it as it was intended to be spent? And don't say the
public will be outraged, our politicians don't care.

It may make us feel all warm and fuzzy inside but I predict it will turn out to be a boondoggle.
