First:
No Parlays / Teasers / Prop bets.

Second:
Have outs to get the best possible number

Third:
Do not lay over -139 on any play in baseball

Fourth:
NBA Home dogs on Friday nights are solid.

Fifth:
CFB / CBB Home court is huge...

Sixth:
The Cowboys / Notre Dame / Lakers are always 1 to 2 points heavy on the true number.. There public teams...

Seventh:
Returning Center / O-line and QB are the most inportant thing early in CFB season... Returning starters are huge but the center runs the o-line and the QB the team...

Eight:
Listen to me....

Have no problem with any of your recommendations, with the exception of the very first one.

PARLAYS, TEASERS, and PROPS are all used by professionals to gain an edge on the bookie.

what bookd do you compare Pinn's lines to in order to see which way Pinnacle is leaning? I have had no luck with the Pinnacle lean but glad to know it has worked.

Fairly much the majority of books to tell you the truth.

fish.. teasers have value only in the NFL... never in CFB / CBB.. Parlays are of no use to me... props are a joke as well 90% of the time...

Defense

In most match-ups defense dictates the way a game will be played and which team will control it. This works in football, basketball, hockey, soccer, and even baseball, as the pitcher is the defensive stopper or not. This is even more applicable when the post season arrives in each sport. Just watch the current adjustments in the NBA and NHL playoffs and take notice.

You are correct sir.

As far as parlays and props, maybe no use to you, but trust me in the fact that many SUPREME wiseguys use them in their arsenal to bang out some good bucks.

Parlay cards are a useful option at 2-3 books out there.

Manipulation of parlay cards in Vegas was a true art form........hanen't bothered with it offshore.

Where do you play them at?

Legendz primarily that accepts US customers. A couple of the UK-focused bookies offer the same, but won't disclose those -- not sure you can play them anyhow and an influx of US money would mean they'd be short lived ;o)

Thanks Santo...............I possibly need to get more involved with this and take a look at the Legendz parlay card situation.

Sure times are rare where an overlay can be found, but I appreciate you waking me up to this.

Don't ever get old whatever you do.

In essence it's the age-old "Play the stale line" strategy, but the 3-teamer @ 6-1 can provide a steady scalpable income, and opens up lots of oppertunities for value bets and middles too.

Not going to go into more detail than that :)

"Don't ever get old whatever you do." -- Not quite sure what that means ;o)

great thread here...especially the stuff about college football coach LT...I'd agree a lot about bowls, I usually bet 75% dogs, especially in the smaller bowls...also agree with kodiak about only straight plays...started doing this about 4 years ago strictly and have made a profit every single year...I think college football is by far the easiest sport to handicap, with college hoops being a distant second...I'm sure baseball is a money maker to, as long as you stick to dogs...the thing is, is that anything can happen in college sports and come sep. I will read all of these posts about people laying 3 TD's in an opening game and they'll get killed...I do agree with coach that late in the season some teams do mail it and and I'm more likely to bet favorites then, but you just can't go wrong playing a majority of dogs...I don't like to bet against USC, Hawaii, Texas Tech, Louisville or Texas at home...I usually don't like betting against teams ranked in the top 5, especially late in the season...I only bet a weeknight football game if I would bet it if the game was on saturday...I usually limit myself to 10 non-saturday games a year in college football (excluding bowl games)...I also won't bet on Labor Day or the day after Thanksgiving (more fucked up shit has happened to my bets during those days over the years than any other day)...as Kodiak points out, QB is huge, huge, huge...no experience at QB= no cover...
