Every pitch they throw is rated

The percentage they throw the pitch is included

Whether they are righty or lefty is included

A + or - is indicated by certain players who are either getting better or worse

Of course the pitchers name




What else would be helpful for you guys? I'm giving this sucker away when I'm done so let me know what else you fellers would like to see included.

How about ERA and WHIP for the home/road splits? And what the heck is an "abuse index"? Never heard that term before?

that sounds good...

the 'abuse index' is a measurement on the amount of abuse the pitcher's arm has been receiving...i am not sure if baseball prospectus has it...but i know it is available someplace...

i am pretty sure it includes...pitch counts, high stress pitches/innings, and some ratio from appearance to appearance.

i do know that a couple years ago...willis led all of mlb in this index, and i think girardi led all managers in the category.....then we see willis fall apart in detroit last year.
