It was a good ending to this game as the Prince block was amazing, however, this might have been the worst game ever to watch. First of all, it is painful to listen to Doc Rivers do these games. He can barely talk and when he does he says someting stupid or comes out with a cliche. The Pistons are down 4 with 10 seconds and Hamilton misses a foul shot. The genius Rivers says "it's only a two possession game since he missed that foul shot". If he would have made both shots to go up 6, how many possessions would they have been down then? Also, 24 points in an entire half by an NBA team is god awful. These new defensive rules are a joke. I'd much rather watch a Dallas-Sacramento game where teams actually score. These low scoring affairs remind me of why I hate soccer so much. Give me the days of Showtime where 130-126 games were the norm.

i get in arguments all the time with friends about what is the better playoffs - nba or nhl.

they insist the nba is better. i get blue in the face stating the obvious - the nhl is better - always has been - always will be.

by the time the wnba playoffs (eastern conference) are done - our arguents should end.

it's just too bad the first 4 games of the stanley cup go up against games 3-6 (if the wolves last that long) of the real nba playoffs - and not vice versa (although i know it wad done this way on purpose so disney owned abc would not have a high profile event like the wnba playoffs on against each other - thereby diluting the ratings - although for the nhl - hard to dilute them any more).

simply put - the nba's slogan "love it live" has to be replaced with "good luck trying to stay awake!"

when the lakers/celtics met in the 1980s - i could have had cindy crawford in her babe-o-licious prime knock on my door wanting to have sex with me - and i would have told her to wait until the game was over. now if roseanne knocks on my door with that request - i might consider it. yes - it would be painful to be with her - but no less so than watching the crap they are calling professional hoops these days!

All I know is that I have Det series, and have had Det twice & Under once thus far, while I had to risk Minny minus to get off Sacto series play in Gm-7, plus lost Gm-2 & Gm-6.

Sact-Minn was fun to watch. but a schizo series, and actually was disgusted by each team's matador D, also the Dallas Mavs, as they're all paid too well to candy-ass it so blatantly, laughing all the way to the bank..while Stern's product and tv ratings are sliding down the crapper.

I'm an Under bettor to Hoops & Pucks..and most any total I get involved with in any sport..I love ugly mucked-up/no-flow battles.

Give me ugly winners over pretty losers any day!
