A mother whose son was killed by a Mexican illegal immigrant 15 years ago has vowed to support President Donald Trump's wall along the U.S.-Mexico border saying she'll even help dig the trenches.
Agnes Gibboney, 62, lost her son Ronald da Silva in 2002 when he was shot dead in El Monte, California by Luis Gonzalez, an illegal immigrant from Mexico.
Gonzales, a known gang member, was jailed over the fatal shooting after pleading guilty to voluntary manslaughter.

Ms Gibboney said her son's death destroyed her family and for that reason applauds Trump's stance on immigration, including his plans to construct the controversial wall he has long said Mexico will pay for.

'Give me a shovel,' Agnes told CBS2. 'Put me to dig the trench. I would be happy to do that. Rain or shine, 100 degrees, 120, I don't care. I will be honored to do it.'
Her son Ronald would have turned 43 on Saturday.
Ms Gibboney, who was born in Hungary, said she is not against immigration but insists people need to go through the legal processes.
'I am a legal immigrant. It took my family 13 years to legally immigrate to United States,' Ms Gibboney said. 'There is a process you should follow.'
The man who killed her son is scheduled to be released from prison in 2020. She is concerned Gonzales will not be deported and will get to remain in the U.S.
Ms Gibboney is an avid Trump supporter and attended his inauguration last week.
She is also a member of The Remembrance Project - an advocate group for families of relatives killed by illegal immigrants.

It comes as Trump fired off a series of tweets at Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto saying he should stay home next week instead of meeting with him if his country won't pay for the wall.

After Trump authorized immediate construction on the wall he's long said Mexico will pay for, a senior aide to Pena Nieto told AP that the head of state might cancel his visit to Washington next Tuesday.
Pena Nieto did not say one way or another in a national address Wednesday while clearly stating: 'Mexico will not pay for any wall.'
Trump fired back this morning, saying in a tweet, 'If Mexico is unwilling to pay for the badly needed wall, then it would be better to cancel the upcoming meeting.'
