Man don't take it to hard. You know your shit and have had some bad beats. You keep at it you will be up at the end of the season. Do what you did at the beginning of the season and it will come back to you. Best of luck!

You seem pretty upset, fair enough with some rough beats and a tough run apparently...I would recommend capping if you want tonight but holding off actually locking in anything until you're able to cool off a bit. Wake up in the morning with a clearer head, sure you may miss some value somewhere but at least you won't rush into it and like you said, best strategy in a cold run is usually to tighten up and only play something you have a strong conviction about. Good luck however you decide to play it though.

I know that you are going to make your own plays, and im sure you will get back on track tomorrow.

Oklahoma State is a GREAT bet tomorrow at home. Look into it. Not only did they come up with great numbers in my system but i looked pretty deeply into it and it seems like the best bet on the board.

Like i said, do whats been working for you, but look into that one at the very least. I had a bad night in college myself tonight, it was pretty tough.. Luckily i have been doing well in the nba to offset the cold streak in college.

Ok I have cooled down. I went back into my November-December bets to see how I got to +50 units. I think I have figured it back out.

I have been capping hardcore since last night and will have some plays up in a bit.

Sports Gambling is a long season, so you have to have the mindset that you will go on good and bad streaks. Don't get upset over tough breaks as they will happen just as much as lucky ones.

Just keep doing what you do. Get to know the teams inside and out and how they play on the road as well as at home. Some teams are great at home, but gets crushed on the road.

The most important thing to figure out is who is playing better as a team and who is not. All teams want to control the tempo and style that makes them better. The team that can make the other team to play to their pace, usually win. But just like in all sports, the team that plays the better defense and has the less turnovers will always be in the game and leave themselves with a really great chance to win.

#1 rule is to never get upset that you lost, because that attitude will only lead to negative thinking and self doubt. Stay positive 100% of the time.:toast:

Well since I am ice cold it only makes sense for me to turn to a team that is red hot. Michigan State has been plowing everyone in thier way since they got destroyed by North Carolina. They haven't played slouches either. They have had some tougher road conference games against solid team and even a few out of conference meetings with teams like Texas and Kansas.

The Spartans have pounded Northwestern both in and out of East Lansing and this year seems to be nothing different. MSU has already beaten them on the road this year outrebounding them 40-23 in the process. However, this is nothing new to NW. In the past 10 meetings NW has been outrebounded 305-192 or 11.3 per game. You can't win when you get slaughtered on the glass like this.

If that is not enough NW is ice cold. Won just 1 of thier last 5 and that was the last meeting at home against Minnesota. If this 1H doesn't hit because MSU is only up 5 or something I will be chasing with MSU 2H.

I never ever get mad. Last night was just venting all my frustration of the tough beats of the past two weeks. You will rarely hear me cry about how bad my luck is. I know I am very lucky to be in a position that I have money to bet on games.

I really don't believe Villanova is a good team. I think Providence has a better shot at the tournament then Villanova does. Villanova will get beaten up by the bigger teams who choose to get physical with them like Conneticut will tonight. Villanova doesn't have any answer for guys like Thabeet or even Adrien. This is another match up where in the past ten meetings one team has dominated the glass. Conneticut isn't a team that will be dominated by Novas backcourt. I think the Huskies win by dd.

cuz its the wrong side IMO..SO CAR can score over FLA's head and FLA isnt that tough outside of FLA. Not scary one bit. SC has 4 guys averaging DD and its not like some schools that boast that where they avg 10.1 10.4 11 and 11.1...think it goes something like 20, 16, 12 and 11...throw in two 7.5+ a game rebounders and you have a good team. Not to mention they are playing at home....lets see what else they do well...they are out rebounding their opponents, out shooting their opponents, out shooting their opponents from 3, out scoring them by a 13 pt clip on avg, have 60 more steals than their opponents this year and almost 100 less turnovers...someone tell me why FLA is the pick...besides the name on the Jersey and the fact that you are more familiar with FLA and SC?? And before someone throws the name Calathes at me do me a favor and go look up Devan Downey....rant fin

Devan Downey==best point guard in the sec and one of the best players in the country... he broke the steals record in the SEC last year and is at it again... he means more to his team than any player in the country IMO. Calathes is the only person that scares me on the UF team... GO GAMECOCKS.

if you like em you play em. there is no holding back on playing a game you like because you think you have too many games. if you see something you like hammer it all day everyday. i always have people come into my thread and say they don't like how many games i play. the answer is simple if you have enough time to research the game thoroughly and think you have an edge 1 way or another you jump on it. luckily i do this on a seriously and am able to devote hours upon hours a day where i can research plenty of games, and am able to find an edge in a number of them. anyways sorry for rambling in your thread just wanted to back you up so you don't feel you are doing something wrong by playing a certain amount of games.
