Friday: 3-4 (-$130)
GimmeDattts MLB YTD: 22-20 (+$1,180)
Texas +148 (Pinnacle)
Some say Justin Verlander is back to his old form, I refuse to buy into that until he shows me something. If you are going to say I can take Texas plus the 148 I will take it everytime I don't care who is on the mound. I am very high on Texas this year. I think with Kinsler, Hamilton, and Young they have as good of a young core as any team in the game. Too much value for me to take a pass and call me crazy but I think Texas is the better team.
Toronto -122 (Pinnacle)
Are you kidding me? Cliff Lee is my fade of the year. I don't care how well he did last year many guys come and have a good year and then fall off the next year. I really don't think Cliff Lee's stuff is that good for him to be a 22-3 pitcher. I think he just got hot last year, got in a groove, and rode it out. He got shelled against Texas and your going to let me take Roy Halladay at a price like this? I don't care if I am betting the Indians to drop to 0-5 I have to take this. If Toronto was at home this would be an easy dime play up to Toronto -135. This is available -117 at Bookmaker for those looking.
Reds -120 (Pinnacle)
Really high on this Reds club. They went 1-2 against the Mets but played well in all the games and fought until the end. Love the direction they are going. Trying not to turn it into a homerun derby everynight but now trying to have good pitching, play defense, and be aggressive on the bases. Dangerous core of young players and Cueto is a wildcard. Love the potential he has and another year of spring under his belt can't hurt. Has electric stuff and we all know how his 1st start last year went.
Seattle -104 (Pinnacle)
I mean, I may get burnt Saturday but if you want to keep offering me these prices I am going to take them. Baisically even money on Felix Hernandez and a vastly improved Seattle team (sleeper in AL) against the A's. He has an ERA under 2.70 in 10 career starts against the A's. Rumor says he had a little ankle problem but it doesn't concern me because they said he threw a bullpen pain free on Wednesday.
White Sox +101 (Pinnacle)
Like the Sox at the Cell in a home dog role. Tough to tell if Liriano has his old stuff back. He came back strong last year but melted in September. His first start this year was a tough one he threw 7 solid innings but left a few balls up that found there way out of the yard in a 6-1 loss to the Mariners. Sox are not off to a good start and after getting beat tonight I think they come back strong tomorrow with a win against a division rivals ace.
Dodgers -113 (Pinnacle)
Petit gets a start for a hurt Brandon Webb and he gets to go against the Dodgers led by Kuroda who threw really well first time out. Kuroda clearly the better pitcher and I think Dodgers better team and in division on the road at -113, better team, better pitcher sounds simple but I won't pass it up.
Pirates/Reds Over 9.5 (+110) (Pinnacle)
Marlins/Mets Under 9.5 (+102) (Pinnacle)
KC Royals +1.5 (+110)
This Royals RL is a rare play for me. I like the Royals on the ML but +1.5 for still +money is too good to pass up.
