The New Era begins now.. lol

Boys, I got some good news (I think). I just had a revelation. I was in the shower (where I do the majority of my thinking) and I was thinking to myself. Why have I not been able to grow past 50 units? I have been hovering from fucking 40-50 units pretty much all year. What was I doing wrong? Then it hit me. I am trying to win big.

As soon as I hit 40 units in the first 3 weeks of posting I had my eyes on a 100 unit season. Rather then taking a daily win I am swinging for the fences and a 10 unit win. So to keep my self balanced I need to set a goal that will keep me plugging along. So...90 days until CBB ends (I know, I was dissapointed when I heard as well). So realistically I will have action going I would say 75 of those days. So my goal is of those 75 days to have 65 of them be winning days. Thats right 65-10 winning days. I think I can do it, however it isn't the most likely thing to happen. So I will start tracking my + unit days.

But in case you don't know what I am doing just look at the last week. Monday I have a 6 unit GOY going but feel the need to place 2 units on Kent St and turn my +6 units into just +3.80 units. Tuesday push a couple of plays that I wouldn't normally play such as Texas -4 and adding a unit to the Ohio St 1H. Wednesday added 2 3 unit 2H losers, and a losing total. Thursday had the option to take Stanford ML for 1.4 units to gaurentee profit but instead try to win 2.3 units and in the process looks as if I will lose 2.5.

So from now on. 65/75 winning days. Well thought out plays w/ write ups. AND most importantly, money management and patience. If anyone wants a small side bet with some nice odds I am willing to take it.

GL. See you later tonight.

Well for Friday with the small card it is important not to press and stay patient. So that being said I have found one play I feel very comfortable with.

Siena -6 1st Half (2 Units)

Siena has been a solid bet all year for the most part. This is the biggest year of basketball in Siena, maybe ever. Why? Because they have returned all five of last years starters, two of them MAAC player of the year candidates. That’s right, the same team that beat Villanova in the tournament last year, beat Stanford earlier that year, and went 13-5 in the conference. They have 6 guys averaging over 8 points per game, probably due to the extra attention Edwin Ubiles has gotten after his great season last year. They rebound the ball as a team with 3 guys who are good on the glass and every other player on the roster pitching in.

On top of all of this Siena is very battle-tested this year. They played Tennessee, Wichita St, Okalahoma St, @ Pitt, @ Saint Josephs, and @ Kansas. The most they lost by in any of those games was 14 to Tennessee. That is an accomplishment for a MAAC to consistently play some power conference teams tough. They won @ SJU, kept within 7 @ Kansas, and within 13 @ Pitt. They are not going to shy away from Rider. They also have a bit of revenge on their mind as Rider came to Siena and left with a win last year.

Rider had a record year last year, the most wins in school history. One of the better wins was that win @ Siena. They are also returning four starters which sounds like gravy right? Well considering the one guy that left was Jason Thompson, I’d say that’s a big deal. When they lost him they lost 20 points, 12 boards, and a ton of great defensive plays per game and I don’t see where you get that kind of production from on this team. In that win @ Siena, by the way, Jason Thompson dropped 23 with 21 boards on 11-17 shooting in 40 minutes of basketball. They don’t have anyone capable of that type of effort this year.

I think Siena is a strong play but laying 12 is tough to do in conference play so I feel comfortable laying the 6 for the 1st half.

GL, be patient.

BOL my book probably won't have a 1st half line for this game. Usually they have them for televised games only.

lol ... I do that sometimes too.

I stay around the same amount for so long, I lay a big one.
I almost feel bored because I might go 2 weeks with the same amount in there and playing tons of games with little return.

Yea, I just checked. My first posted play was November 27th. 14 days later I hit +40 units. I stayed hovering around 33-49 until I hit 52 on Monday.

December 11th I hit +40 units and I have been shitting the bed since. :103631605

Turning this around...2 units at a time.

You need a new book ASAP. Game is on ESPNU if that works. Also, try calling your book. My 3 locals let me place pretty much whatver I want over the phone even if they don't have it on the site but they have it at a major offshore.

The closest team to me is Rider (about 20 minutes), Rutgers (about 35 minutes), or Seton Hall (about 30 minutes). I try to make 3-5 of those each. I also try to get to a few of the Big East schools. Been to a few Saint Josephs.

Even with all those games guess what team I like? Fucking Long Beach St and Syracuse are my two teams...go figure.

Duell I assume you mean. He has no impact on any game he plays in. I haven't heard that hes out. He had the stomach bug since last week. He is captain but I am not sure for what reason.
