Had a good day yesterday. This is the first time since the all-star break where i have felt like i was starting to hit a rhythm. If you take out one horrible day i'm close to even since then but i haven't felt comfortable.

Balt. looks like very live dog with Ponson going. He is 5 - 0 in day games this year with an ERA of 2.56 an OBA of .234. Definite value at plus 90 or 95 cents. Clemens has been hitable at home 3 -4 with an ERA of 4.59, he has a decent OBA of .245, but has been tagged for 8 homers in his ten starts at Yankee stadium. He is also a so-so 3 - 4 in day games.

I didn't even bother reseaching that game. I looked at the line and all i could see was $value$. Of course in my mind i already knew that over the last couple months not many guys could match Ponson. And Clemens was not up to his usual self at home. One other thing about this game. Clemens has not consistantly pitched deep into games. While the bullpen has come along since the return of Rivera. I am still not sold that they have patched all the holes from earlier this year when they were awful.

Nice way to start the day with a big dog-Baltimore. Hopefully the Rockies can get a win and assure a winning day.

I don't usually do this but i want to add one more game. Appier has been horrendous in his career against Texas. Not sure what i'm going to get with Benoit but i think the Rangers bats can cover his shortcomings against Appier.
