Goes to show it is not a SINGING contest, it is just a popularity contest.
Not surprising, but disappointing.
If the show were held on the radio, Gedeon would be either 1 or 2. But instead, he is going home.
Kinda a quirky guy, but I can be pretty sure to say he will be successful in show business.
Kevin Covais is one of the top 12 singers in America about as much as I have one of the 12 longest schlongs in America.
I liked that kid. I'm going to see if I can find that painting of the world as a record and hang it in my office.
He nailed When a Man Loves a Woman as he's walking out the door and next week I gotta hear that JMac wannabe hack and lisp his way through another sappy ass ballad...
Kevin JMAC just sang Vincent. I'll say it again. Vincent (Circa 1971). That is right up there with Seasons in the Sun and Shannon as one of the CHEESIEST SONGS EVER WRITTEN!
BTW, Kevin sang I Heard It through the Grapevine (circa 1967) the week before, which just happens to be not only Motown-ish, but actually Motown.
But boy he nailed that rocker One Last Cry by Brian McKnight, who...ahhh...you just got to know where this is going don't you....Brian McKnight, who just happens to be signed by.....MOTOWN!
Gideon ROCKS....Old School Motown still kicks ass, and whatever you got coming out of your car stereo 8-track is.....SNAP!
