Instead of moving forward w/young arms like they did w/Lincecum, they sign this old POS...wait, another 5.5 years and I'll be that old goat, but w/a lot less in my bank acct.

i guess it's a clear sign they want to move either Lowry or Jonathan Sanchez to get a bat, because if they don't, 5 Wins would seem like August for Johnson to get his 300th.

premonition ... Arizona & Giants had a brawl few years ago, during the scuffle, Randy Johnson lost his cap and he put on a Giant's cap on accident till a teammate told him he was wearing the wrong cap.

I actually think this is a pretty good signing for the Giants. Even if he only makes 15-18 starts this year, Unit is going to put up solid numbers. The Giants rotation has the potential to be very good in 2009. It's too bad their offense looks like it's going to be awful again....otherwise they could definitely contend in a weak NL West (they might anyways).
