Do the Redskins even have a chance here? They have not been playing too well lately and the Giants continue to roll. Last week I stayed off the Giants b/c the line looked to easy at -3 and it ended up being an easy cover. I think the Giants continue to roll and play hard, especially now that Dallas looks like the may be back in the running for the playoffs. The only thing that scares me is I heard on the radio, Wayne root say that something like 97% of the public is on the Giants? Can anyone confirm this? Usually when the public is this much on one side it's not a good sign.

You would be correct. Tons of action on NYG, and what's worse is the line hasn't budged an inch. I've seen a handful of -4's out there, but if this much people are on NY, I would expect more line movement. However, lines move due to $ coming in, not amt of players. So perhaps the large bettors haven't moved in on this one, yet. I'd feel a lot more comfortable if this line moved come sunday morn!

We are honoring Sean Taylor before the game. Moss and Portis will play like they are possessed. Home dog/revenge division game as well. Redskins have a very very good defense.

The line I use opened at -3, went to -3.5 yesterday and is now at -4. I was all over the Giants early but I do think the Sean Taylor thing will keep the game closer than I thought. I still see NY winning but what I though would be a 14-17 point blow out may now be a 4-7 point win.

Isn't the defense banged up pretty badly?

Fletcher is questionable but HB Blades is a servicable back up. Springs is finally healthy and having Springs, Rogers, Smoot, Hall, Horton and Landry healthy is a first for the year. Problem is with the D-Line-its banged up and not even that strong when not banged up. The O-line is in shambles as well, Casey Rabach stinks, Samuels is 50-50 and gets crushed by speed rushers and Jansen is unable to hold a block which kills the passing game. Portis is injured as well. If Giants D can hold Skins down for a while, Redskins D will crack. I dont see Skins winning unless they get a defensive TD or some kind of big game for Moss. They split the series 2 of the last 3 years i believe-maybe the last 3. I would take NYG -3 or money line and i am a Skins fan

I like the Giants at -3.5, however im not sure im gonna go for it, -3 seemed like an easy cover last week and i was going to bet it but couldnt get to the bookie in time last week as i was in vegas and was busy with other things. I was on the redskins at -3 i bought a half point thanks god i did.

If i take action on this game, it will be 1st Quarter Over 7.5, im thinking both teams come out scoring, and the second half the score will pull apart drastically.

Good logic.

The Redskins beat Cleveland, and Cleveland beat NYG. How does that play into your analysis?

I'm starting to like the Skins today. Portis has been consistent of late and with a sloppy rainy day ahead, if Skins can control the clock and turn drives into TD's I think we can see an upset today.

I don't know how the Plaxico mess will effect this team. I know the last few Plax incidents haven't made a difference, but Pierce being involved makes it a little more meaningful.

Washington retires Sean Taylors jersey into their ring of fame. It should be very emotional for the Deadskins.

Plexy glass shot himself being the thug that he is at a night club.
