I find this line alarming. Why are the g-men getting so many points? No matter who their opponent is? This line is telling me Pitt will win(money line) and quite possibly cover the spread

I have it at +7' -145 at 5dimes. Don't understand this line, I thought Giants would be getting maybe 3 points max.

Normally I'd shy away from this line but giants are playing great especially on the defensive side of the ball.....janoris is a top 3 corner in the league in my opinion. Jpp and Vernon getting sacks and hurries ... Collins defensive MVP in my mind ... I'm excited for this one. Giants need to run the ball a little better today but I like the 7.5 points

my clock is stuck on 420 time to hit this bong

have to agree first take on line giants +6.5 seemed to easy . i dont see how the giants can really look past this because all remaining games are vs. solid contenders. Dallas ,detroit ,wash and philly not in that order and dallas game next week at 815pm sunday night. Giants can exploit pitt secondary . unless pitt brings the house all game dismantling pussy mannings timing I see this coming down to special teams and points off turnovers .

I am seeing 7.5 (-145), but for some reason they make that -- rather than the real price (+6.5 -105 or + 7 -125).

Unless the line move radically overnight, and than back, the 7.5 involves buying a whole point.

All good points guys. I just can't take the bait here. They're luring people in with this inviting line IMO. Pitt ML and a second wager buying Pitt points for me.

Spring line was -7.5. Something to consider.

G men D vs. Pit Off

My feeling here is while gmen d is no doubt improved from last season I'm still skeptical on just how much. They have faced a bunch of offensively challenged teams and that putting it nicely! When they faced gb the pack outgained them by damn near 200 yards. Skins put up 29. They did do a great job vs the saints but that was at home and we all know saints have tendency to put up a offensive stinker on road every now and then. Granted all those games were over a month ago but how the hell we sure they improved when the d is looking solid vs the likes of Cle, chi, cin, lambs? Hell even the eagles outgained them by a huge margin!! And while the Jenkins signing gets attention I'll tell you one thing I know about that guy for a fact after watching him for years here in stl, sure he a ball hawk but he very susceptible to double moves, I think brown and Ben take him to school more than once today while Eli Rodgers does a ton of damage underneath. At some point I think Eli makes costly mistake trying to keep up with what I think be several big plays by the pit offense.

I took the bait. I never think of huge lines as "traps" when the teams are NE, PIT, Dallas, GB etc... they are literally the most popular teams in the league and they always get bet on heavily (though the G-men are popular too, obviously).

This week, when I guessed the lines, I had Pitt as a 4 point fav. I also had Det as getting maybe 3 points and Houston getting maybe 4.

On those games I was way off. So, at the end of the day it will be interesting to see how these 3 games go. If Pit, NO and GB covers than maybe these were trap games. If they don't, maybe the books either hung a bad line, or the public just can't resist betting on stars like Brown, Big Ben, Brees etc...
