It sucks that we have these armchair detectives here who give a new poster a hard time, after that person got screwed by a scam sports book. :neenee:

VIP has bought other books over the years (five card/fair deal) and they normally are just buying the customer base, because they institute the VIP rules pretty much right away.

Chuck Sims call ed them a deposit only book too... so yell at him a little.

And I wasn't referring to VIP or this incident in particular but those posters who act like big shots because they "cracked the case" posting that some new poster is a ghost. And if he IS a ghost... SO WHAT??? Someone needs help with a sports book problem and whether he's a new poster or not he deserves to have the professionals here get to the bottom of it. If he's a scammer then he will be publicly humiliated. Again this is why these threads should be buried until it has been investigated, to keep the peanut gallery from posting wild-ass accusations about stuff they would have no way of knowing.

Guys,

Thank you all very much for the encouragement, and this mostly positive feedback has given me some much needed confidence that I will get paid soon. I tried e-mailing them my info again, once again through AOL (4 times from my college account is enough attempts), but this time I made the files smaller and sent the information in two seperate e-mails. I sent them around 6PM, so we'll see what happens. If not, I'll try faxing my information again later this week.

jjgold,

I know the money probably isn't a lot to most gamblers, but you've gotta understand that I am just a college student. I work about 20 hours per week on top of going to school, and this money is a nice sum for me. If you want to cut me a check and rid this site of this problem, I'll be happy to oblige.

Ace,

I stated it before, and I hope this can help clear it up. A few buddies and I came to the conclusion that we were making a pretty solid bet, and I took the liberty of making the bet myself with everyone else's money. After it won, I paid them what they wanted to wager, and decided that I'd just wait for the payout. It hasn't happened. One of my buddies has an older brother who gambles much more than I ever have, and my buddy asked his brother what I should do to help me get paid. He said to post on theprescription.com and sportsbookreview.com. I know it sounds shady, but I don't have any other info about it. After reading about how many first timers come in and complain about a sportsbook, I realize that my story looks fake, but I assure you that it is not. If necessary, I will get the full details of the recommendation later this week (i.e. if he posts here). I hope this helps.

jjgold,

I do not bet much, and there is a reason why. I believe that the house will always win in the long run. Due to that, I wanted to make one bet, which I was comfortable with, and it won. I realized that if I kept gambling, I'd probably lose it, so I requested my money in the next day or two.

After my money was refunded in mid-january after multiple failures at getting it, I actually did make 4 more bets out of pure boredom (besides, it was the NFL playoffs!), but they were only for like $10 per bet. After splittling the bets I realized it was time to get out immediately, and have not wagered since.

Well guys, I am thrilled to say that my money has been received. I'd like to thank The General for the help, not to mention all you guys for believing that I wasn't out to scam anyone. I guess the moral of the story is to not deposit by a credit card, as I don't believe you have to send the info if you deposit funds another way.

It's amazing what the internet, and especially this site, can do. You guys are awesome :suomi: . I'll try to continue posting every now and then, and will add insight to any games that I think I have. Thanks again guys.
