Always good flyers.

Sounds like a greedy book. I think -7.5 +450 or higher was more in line.

It was 5dimes. I don't make a habit of betting women's softball and surely didn't line shop it. All I took was the TT over anyway, which squeaked in.

HOWEVER.......I do like this Oklahoma team, they looked pretty damn good. Might take their TT runs over 4.5 or -2.5 +110 or something tonight but I don't know jack about Tennessee.

Any thoughts Cruise, Sooner?

Tennessee is one of the most dangerous teams in this tournament. They are a very good fast team. And unlike most other teams, they use multiple pitchers, which makes them extra dangerous. The Vols like to play "small ball" so OU needs to get them out of their game early. I wouldn't want to play this team from behind. This could be an interesting series. But I can tell you OU is very focused. They are the most talented team in this WS. Their pitcher Ricketts is softball player of the year. And many think it should have gone instead to their ace slugger Chamberlin. So there is bigtime talent to go around. The Sooners just need to remain focused and take care of business. Especially this first game. Hopefully they'll play less ragged than they played last night.

Sounds like Tennessee +1.5 +130 might be worth a shot tonight then? Ricketts isn't going to pitch again tonight is she?

Another interesting one to me is OK wins series 2-1 +255; Tennessee can probably scrape one of the first 2 out right? And if so then I could freeroll game 3 as Tenn would be +BIG for the game right?

Pattie Gasso tends to ride one pitcher throughout the Series. And that means Ricketts will probably start against Tennessee. I thought Ricketts somewhat struggled last night, and hasn't looked 100% sharp to me in these earlier games. But I guarantee you Gasso will start her in every game, and will only pull her if she starts walking batters or giving up a lot of hits in the first inning or two. Personally I would like to see the pitching a little more spread out for the long haul. Seems like sharing pitching duties would make both more effective. But Gasso knows her girls pretty well because they are a veteran team.

tenn has really good pitching. I wouldn't take ok as a big fav here. But also too afraid to bet against them. I'm staying away from this one

I'm going to put a very small play down on OU tonight. OU left a lot of runners on the base paths last night, otherwise the game would have ended earlier. Without sounding like a homer, I'm just very hesitant to bet against this OU team. Especially given the individual and team stats for this team, which is just plain impressive. But the one stat that stands out to me the most is the run numbers in this year's entire playoff series is 82-13. With 82 being the number this team has scored and just 13 is the number they've given up through the entire Big 12 Tournament, regional, super regional, WWS series. In women's softball, that's very dominant. But I'm still not betting much in tonight's game since I don't know how these two teams will match up. And the pressure is all on Oklahoma.
