Love these games today and feel a definite bounceback from last night's slight disappointment.
Royals will win this game, they have nothing to play for except trying to get Greinke the Cy Young, and he needs wins to get it. If this team is gonna get hyped for any game it is this one, and you don't get better than Greinke on the mound. Edwin Jackson is going to start to struggle down the stretch, he always does, sometimes earlier than others, but it is undeniable that he will fall off late in the year. This will be the game.
Randy Wells is pitching for a guaranteed spot in the rotation next year, and I think the Cubs win this one easily. They still have a remote, outside chance at the playoffs and Piniella is the kind of guy to light a fire under them right now. Love them in this spot, especially with how disappointing the Brewers have been. That team is running on fumes.
Angels will band together after the shitshow last night whereas Beckett's arm is just tired, period. Ervin Santana is getting back into a groove and +150 is great value here.
I really like the card today, and feel like it should be an excellent day, please hop aboard the Rich Roid Wagon.
