Fellas, I suggest you take Florida as a 9.5 point dog, before that line moves.

I like the play, but you gain a whole lot more value if it moves to 10 vs the value you lose if it moves to 9. justathought

Here's some value for you.....the Tigers will be lucky to win straight up. That's right, you heard it here first.....LUCKY TO WIN!

LSU is coming off a bye week after looking sharp in it's first five games, so you can count on a sluggish start. All the players saw Florida look like shit against Ole Miss, so you can count on some good old-fashioned Louisiana complacency. Florida's backs are against the wall, and they get to play away from all the hometown boo birds. LSU is going to be without their leading rusher (Shyrone Carey). LSU has trouble covering athletic tight ends, so Ben troup will run wild. LSU has BIG trouble with mis-direction plays and draws from the shotgun. And the biggest justification of all.....Coach Saban will sit on a lead of anything greater than 7 points, garunteeing a back door cover.

TAKE FLORIDA +9

this is too funny .... where's the faith???
Since you seem to like Middle opportunities, why not grab LSU when it's at the lowest it will be and play UF +13 when it goes that high if you think it will be in that range

LSU will POUND Florida ..... if Zook & Zaunbrecher were too STUPID to use him against one of THE WORST PASS DEFENSES in college football, what makes you think that he'll use him against LSU???

LSU covers this line EASILY

Big Daddy,

You KNOW I have faith in my boys winning, but you're hatred for the Gators is showing. You guys go ahead and take LSU -9 and have a nice time with that Saban backdoor.

Oh, Lonnie you need to post on this site longer than 60 days before you start asking fellow posters where they have been.

LSUpete, I have made my biggest play of the year on LSU! UF is really bad with BAD coaches. This is UFs 7 th straight game in a row. I will have a bigger write up tonight. LT

Is it just me or does someone else find it somewhat humorous that LSUpete is going against LSU and GATOR COACH LT is going against the Gators.

Hey LSUPete, I gotta disagree. Your Tigers are one of the better teams in the SEC/Nation and will dominate Florida, ESPECIALLY at LSU!!!!! Florida Fell apart vs Miami (not as good as advertised) shoulda lost to Kentucky if Lorenz didn't throw it up for grabs as he was getting sacked, got beaten soundly by Tennessee at the Swamp, and lost to Ole Miss at the Swamp. OLE MISS!!!!! Ole Miss couldn't even beat Vandy or Memphis and has ZERO DEFENSE!!!! Ole Miss shut out the Gators in the 2nd half. SHUT THEM OUT!!!! Ole Miss out passed and out rushed the Gators. The freshman QB Leak hasn't been good at all, they have no rushing attack, the defense isn't that good and face one of the best defenses in the nation, AT LSU, in one of the most hostile places in the nation to play!!!!

When looking at Florida, you throw out Cupcakes like San Jose St, Florida A&M and who have they played and beat?? Lost to Miami, most teams would but LSU is right up there with Miami IMO. Barely, and I mean barely beat Kentucky. I watched that entire game, Kentucky flat out outplayed them on BOTH sides of the ball. If Kentucky QB Lorenz takes the sack, Florida loses. Period. Instead he throws the ball over his shoulder while being dragged down, interception run back for a TD. Tennesse and Ole Miss beat them at the swamp and LSU is better than both them teams, and they get the Gators at home.

The Gators have no bite, and LSU will destroy them. This isn't a Spurrier lead Florida team by far and teams like UGA, TEN, ARK, AUB, LSU are all better than the Gators this year. Now you can throw in Ole Miss and shoulda added Kentucky in there.

Forget about the Florida Reputation and teams of the past, this team sucks.

Florida's remaining games are Brutal!!:
10/11 at LSU LOSS
10/18 at Arkansas LOSS
11/1 Georgia LOSS
11/8 Vanderbilt Win
11/15 at South Carolina TOSS COIN, edge to SC IMO
11/29 Florida State LOSS

For the Gators, this is just the beginning of the end for them, and it started last week when a below average Ole Miss came into the Swamp and Beat Them. LSU wins by atleast 2 Tds and only the Tigers can stop themselves in this one.

Hope I didn't take any steam from your post Gator Coach and would love to read the write up!!!!

Geek,

I completely agree with EVERYTHING you said. You are absolutely correct, the only way LSU doesn't cover is if they beat themselves....

Pete, I am more concerned with missing the Safety(Jack Hunt) & his DB playcalling due to MCL over Carey's MCL , as he is one of a stable of RB's.

Troupe and Baker?(Mia gm short route guy?) worry me, but UF has imploded at some juncture in all name-brand tilts to date.

Saban won't let off this week if LSU get's up big. He'll keep hammering Florida. He remembers his first year vs. the gators and tiger fans remember the last 10, save last year. Saban didn't let up last year either. I expect UF will come out and play very hard early but LSU's talent and coaching will take over and LSU will cover.

It's been a long time since LSU has been 5-0 and Tiger Stadium will be rockin while smelling blood on their way to 6-0. The team knows what's at stake poll wise with a big win.

Horseshoe,

Hunt might play on Saturday, because he practiced on Monday, but I wouldn't count on it. Carey won't be back until after South Carolina.

5-0 Pete 5-0 Pete.If you were in Tiger Stadium against Georgia you understand why I say"Don't get off the wagon," yet...LSu has the best Defense BR has seen in years...(Saban is no offensive guru)Can you say BLITZ-BLITZ-BLITZ!?...The Tiger passing game has to open up eventually...Look for Mauk and Clayton to have a huge game and the defense, w/out Hunt, will shut down the Gators...33 - 13

The Hogs are calling and we will be there Cochon De Lait!!!!!

Pete, he didn't practice with the others, he limbered up on his own with crutches and a brace?..I may be wrong

I favor LSU or pass, as TS and the fans will not want a letup of mercy(if it comes to that point). I agree LSU normally a lil' sleepy off a bye though.

Geaux Tigers!

Saban historically at all coaching jobs his had; screws up one game a year, when he's clearly had the better team. Oddly enough; it's always a home game. Would definitely pass this game. Clearly tigers are better, but this sets up as a trap.

Definitely agree with this. Anyone that watched the Miss St game knows that Saban will not let up when ahead big. LSU was crushing the Bulldog's nuts and Saban was coaching like they were behind by 20.

YES, he does coach like a madman the whole game, but that is on an individual basis. Coach Saban doesn't have much to do with the offensive play calling. He'll listen on the headphones sometimes, but it is entirely up to Jimbo Fisher. The fact of the matter is that LSU DOES sit on a lead offensively when ahead in the fourth quarter. Added to this is the fact that the coaching staff has taken some heat about leaving starters in a game with a big lead. Last year Mauck was hurt in the Florida game while playing with a 28 point lead, and last week Shyrone Carey was hurt under the same circumstances.

My take on this game stands....10 points is too many.
