Welcome to the new season in germany.

unfortunatly it seems we will not have a contest this season, but maybe we will find a sponsor and can start one later. would be great.

so far,i'll try to keep my records through this season.
i'll post different records for 1.Bundesliga, 2. BLiga and Regionalliga (pinnacle now offers also regionalliga

All plays will be for 1 unit unless i post a big play (2 units)...

i'm not sure if i've time for write ups before saturday games, but so far these are my plays for friday and saturday:

1. Bundesliga:

B.München - Frankfurt: München -1.5/-2 @1.917
Kaiserslautern- 1860 München: 1860 München +0.5 @2.04
Hamburg-Hanover: Hamburg -0.5/-1 @ 1.84
Over 2.5 @ 1.725 (2 units)
Berlin-Bremen: Berlin -0.5 @1.847 (2 units)

I was leaning towards 1860 München too but I'm not sure I'll bet anything for the first few rounds.

hello Bundesliga Boosters,

my thorough research has indicated that
Hamburg & Kaiserlautern may do better than
expectations,is there any book that would
offer odds on these teams finishing in the
top 3 or 4 of the table.Let's face it Bayern
will probably win again,and it could be all
over before the xmas holiday,so don't want
to just throw money down the drain betting
on these squads to win the league.
last year i punted on Hertha Berlin,or is
it Bertha Herlin???,to win the league,and
knew my bet was hopeless 8 months from the
finish line,so want to avoid such a depressing
condition this time around.
I happened to watch a report on Kaiserlautern
that was on DW-Tv,and although my german
is not so good(unusual for a liechtensteiner),
they showed a practice,and an extended interview with their star player whose name
escapes me right now.anyway during the interview the player did state "I don't give
a Phuck about Frankfurt", i'm not sure if
he was referring to the football team or
the airport,but all bundesliga fans might
want to circle the kaiserlauter-frankfurt
fixtures on their calendar.
Otoh,this star player appeared to live in
a rather drab council estate like apartment.
Maybe the kaiserlautern krauts aren't paid
so well.

Congrats on the nice start today, Chris. I'm usually not able to watch much German football because it used to be on SAT 1 which I can't see. But today I noticed that the game was on ARD - do you know if they'll show Bundesliga-ball for the whole season? It would be awsome!

yes, duck. there was much confusuion about tv- rights in germany.
i'm not sure how they work it ot exactly, but the regular summary of bundesliha saturday 18:00 hours CET is now on ARD and not on SAT 1 anymore.
i think a live game on friday, was just because of league start. cuase friday is usually the place for 2.liga.

so definetly no more football on SAT 1.

Well, I'll have to live without live Bundesliga then - but 90 minutes of Sportschau every weekend is good enough for me

You forgot to mention TBWSport.com. Although Livescore is good too, TBWSport have excellent coverage, a lot of additional infos and is faster…

Surprises me to see that you guys are still struggling with Mr Ohana in what is, after all, a football thread.
My own take on this is quite simple: you present a web-site to the English-speaking world in Italian and you're already playing off the back foot - to use a cricketing phrase.

I think this particular thread shoud have long ago been spared the ignominy of dubious financial institutions inspired by a mix of whichever is your favourite crime writer with whichever is your favourite moll with whichever is your least favourite bodily odour.

However, the Prescription seems to be the maggot farm to which we only visit when we want to go fishing and we must acknowledge the role they play in society.
