Man, I can't even say that with a straight face, it sure is hard to act and think like a Looney Libby.

Anyhow, Chambliss's resounding victory was sorely needed by the GOP. If Sarah Palin has any impact, it once again could only be viewed as positive. Chambliss had a 4 point lead over the weekend, and winds up winning by 14 after she campaigns for him.

Knowing how the loonies think however, I'm sure they'll find some spin where she actually hurt him.

Thank you Georgia :103631605

You hardly make any sense. And you put 5 emoticons in one post like a 5th grader using AIM for the first time.

It took a runoff for a republican incumbent to hold his seat. OK.

As far as Palin goes, you did see the Couric interview. Right?! Good grief.

Everything I said made sense, just that it goes right over the heads of fifth grade political novices. Did you see the Katie Course interview of several hours? or just what your shepherds chose to spoon feed you? I've seen Palin speak enough to know she can and does hold her own. It's more about the full body of work than isolated instances, but I'm probably going way too deep for you.

Pruessen, read the OP, get back to me.

BTW: why did Obama avoid Georgia like the black plague? It sure would have been a big win for his party.

Right, like the VP decided the issue. I think exit polls clearly showed the credit crisis owned election day, and the party in the White House gets economic blame and credit. Even scientific polls had McCain ahead before the credit crisis became news.

Considering the bad economic news, a poor Republican presidential candidate, Obama's massive monetary advantage, Obama's incredible love affair and spin advantage with the media, the fact that Iraq was off the radar because McCain was right and Obama was wrong, and 96% of African Americans voting for Obama, it's remarkable that McCain / Palin came so close.

Did you know, discounting the racist AA vote, McCain beats Obama by 7 million votes? Mindboggeling

And you lefties think it was about "policy"

Palin shows up to campaign for Saxby while Jim Martin shows up with Young Jeezy, TI and Ludacris (not making this up). Like their music, but I do not think two ex-cons are the best endorsements out there. I am just happy that the constant flow of political ads will cease.

Willie..dont forget. These are the same people calling rednecks stupid and dumb republicans.

The same people who gladly take on the indigent, broke, welfare riddled black vote with open arms...

Now before some jackhole comes in here and calls me racist, Im not. The point of this post is that the LEFT WING LIBS

ARE HIPPOCRITES.

Call uneducated white people rednecks and laugh at them, the whole time praising the uneducated black vote for coming out in droves to support the BETTER party.

LMAO. YOu guys are classic.

and this means they're lesser people or something?

No, but they are not representative of the country and do not represent a rejection of Obama.

Georgia already rejected Obama and were in the minority in doing so. Why is this different when Obama was not even on the ballot and it involved an incumbent republican.

If you read the OP, you'll see that I'm not serious about the rejection of Obama.

However, your reasoning brings up an interesting byproduct. Since 96% of a minority, 11% of the voters that just happen to be AAs, voted for one man and swung what would have been a 7 million plurality for McCain into a 7 million deficit, does that mean the election results are "not representative of the country"? Or does such logic only apply when and if you deem it so?

Why divide by the color of one's skin? I simple said a minority of americans voted for McCain. You can slice and dice however you want but all americans, regardless of color, are equal and have one vote and 53046 voted for Obama.

The fact that Georgia elected Chambliss in a runoff says nothing about Obama, regardless of nonserious assertions.
