Genral...Why is the Time off so badly

I'm in the Cental time zone and it's currently 10:07 AM here, but when I post it's about 6 hours fast. It's confusing and It's been like this for months. Any reason why???

Just curious. I would like to see it fixed so I could accurately (without effort) figure out when somebody posts.

Click on User CP top left on tool bar.

</TD><TD class=vbmenu_control>Log Out</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>then click on EDIT OPTIONS. In there about halfway down the page you will see Date & Time Options. Click on drop down arrow and change to Central Time GMT-6:00, then assure the DST Correction Option: is set to auto detect DST settings.
