Just GIDP(2nd in game) with the bases loaded and the Yanks down by four.

I actually think at some point in his career, he will come through.

Perhaps I'm giving him to much credit.

Perhaps it will be with another team.

Debacle with guys on a base, worst guy in the lineup I would want to see up with RISP and that's terrible, and as stated above, I think the Yanks are stuck with him.

We didn't lose the game; we just ran out of time

Arod is fucking sucking right now, but no one in baseball wants to face him with men on, NO ONE.

He will get his shit together with runners on like he did last year

He's grounded into 9 double plays in the last 18 games.

4 in the first 91 games.

Red Sox would love to have him. Good luck with that Kotsay trade, btw. That's a scary bat.

Yes he did.

He has 2 RBI's in the 8th and 9th inning this year. Thats hard to do and still put up big numbers.

Last year he was the most clutch player in baseball.

Arod and clutch do not belong in the same sentence.

A-Rod 1-for-10 this season with the bases loaded—0-for-7 when there were less than two outs.

I expect AROD to have at worst a decent game tonight and probably a very good one.

If he goes hitless and the Yankees lose, the NY media will be all over him.

Fyi

AROD Lifetime vs Paul Byrd:

20 Plate Appearances 4 hits -- 3 singles -- 1 HR - 3 RBI ---1BB - 6Ks --.222 Bat. ave. .300 OBP - .389 SLG% - 689 OPS*. 1 Sacrifice.

*OPS is On-Base Percentage + Slugging Percentage. It is a pretty good estimate of offensive ability.

For example: Carlos Guillen has a 1.136 OPS vs Paul Byrd, obviulsy Guillen hits Byrd harder that ARod historically, which does not mean AROD does not have a big game tonight.
