32-18 (64%) overall. The Big TRIPLE PLAYS are an outstanding 11-5 (69%) on the season. Will be leaving here soon for a couple of weeks, so here are my plays for Saturday:

QUADRUPLE PLAY!!!!

*****Virginia -5' over Clemson. My strongest play this year. Seems like a lot of that going around, but this weekend is a deep card and Virginia stands out. QB Whitehurst is questionable, the UVA defense will dominate the Tigers offense. Schaub is back healthy now, 2 games under the belt, and will put up big numbers on a suspect Clemson defense. The UVA defense is the difference maker stoping the sputtering Clemson offense, dominating field positions and the turnover battle. UVA covers by 3 scores!!!!

Triple Plays:

****Kansas +6 to beat Colorado. Kansas should win this one by 10, and getting 6 is a great number here. Woulda been a Quadruple play, but I've seen nobody on Colorado which scares me. Colorado is also coming off a big time downer getting destroyed by Baylor, which could be a good thing if this team has quit. Col RB Purify is out, Colorado can't run or stop the run and Kansas and their offense will roll in this one, even at Colorado. They have new life, run the ball very effictively and Coach Mangino will have the Jayhawks ready, prepared, and with momentum coming off the bye week.

****Ohio State -2 over Wisconsin. What can I say, they just win! They have a great defense, they stop the run and forcing Wisc QB Jim Sorgi to throw will result in turnovers. Ohio States offense is not one that will tear it up. But they won't make the mistakes, will be in great field position all game with that great defense, and Krenzel and company should have a good day against a below average Wisc defense. Coach Tressel will have them ready and rested off the bye week. I don't like Ohio State, but ya gotta respect them. They win ball games and will win another one vs Wisconsin in comfortable fashion.

****Texas Tech -16' over Iowa State. Iowa State gives up points in BUNCHES. Texas Tech Scores points in BUNCHES. Texas Tech is at home, on the Fast Track and Iowa State won't be able to keep up. Iowa State is banged up at QB, RB, WR, OL and DL. In a shootout, you need all your weapons and all of them clicking. Iowa State gets whupped up on here.

****La Tech -15 over UTEP. Should be an easy winner as UTEP is perhaps one of the worst teams in college football. The won vs and even worse SMU squad, but lets not get confused here. La Tech is MUCH better and will score early and often against an all around poor UTEP squad. La Tech hung close all game to an excellent Boise St squad and will crush the Minors. UTEP a little, La Tech A LOT!!!

***************Other BIG GAME Plays:********************

***OU -6 over Texas. Great offense, Awesome defense, and Texas can't win the big games, and I'm not talking about K-State. This is the #1 team in the nation coming in on a Major roll!! Questions at Tex QB against this defense?!?! BAD NEWS.

**N.D. +9 over Pitt. I must be crazy
icon_confused.gif
I watch too much "The Season" on ESPN cover ND or something. I think they'll be strong off a bye and Pitts offense may struggle vs what is a good ND Defense.

**UGA -2' Over Tennessee. Exposed a bit vs a good Auburn attack. Home crowd will keep it close, but UGA talent will overcome.

**FSU -7 Over Miami. Too much for the Banged up Canes.

**Ok State +3 over KSU Good game, wrong team favored at home.

**Nebraska -7 over Mizzou. Nebraska should run all over Mizzou, ala Kansas. Nebraska's Black Shirt Def takes care of QB B.Smith.

**Penn St. +13' over Purdue. Me think surprise?!? Penn State QB played well last week and The Key will be running and Stopping the run vs the Boilermakers. Purdue is good, just too many points and PSU can keep it close.

Left off teams I should go with but am passing like LSU over FLA, Navy over Vandy and Wyoming over Utah St. But can't spread myself to thin and pick them All!!

GL to all this weekend!!!!!!!

Geek, good looking card. I know you have been on a roll this year.

I like the Virginia play. Clemson has fallen on some hard times, and I wonder how many of the players have started to shut it down
icon_confused.gif
they have been beaten bad on both sides of the ball. I like VA with Schaub back in the saddle. Al Groh is also a decent coach for the Cavs. I like em' by at least a touchdown in this spot.

Couple of others I looking into and will probably throw out for saturday plays.
FSU- I know everyone is on them, but they are so due it is not funny. I think a lot of frustration and anger is going to be taken out on the canes this weekend. Miami can't stop the run, and they are sooo banged up coming in. No TB (payton is average at best), and the D is hampered by lingering injuries (starting safety is key). It is gonna warm my heart to see Winslow cryin' like the p*ssy that he is!

Ok St- They are at home in the ultra competitive BigXII and they are getting points. I don't think the Cowboy offense gets shut down like it did in week 1 vs. the 'huskers. I think they will score enough and play enough D vs. the wildcats to win outright. Have to question the KState heart after the Texas loss, and a second loss on the season..

Oops, I just realized I was posting my picks in your thread. Sorry!

I also like: Navy, Arkansas, OU, LSU, Wisc, Fresno St.

Good Luck to ya, and have a great vacation!

Who cares, you can post picks in my thread or any thread!!!! I more than welcome it. I like your Navy pick and think they can win outright, just worried about a let down, and size differential in the trenches hurting them.

Looks like we are at odds over Ohio State/Wisconsin. Should be a good game, but just see Ohio State winning again. Think they'll look better this time off a bye, healthy, and against a banged up Wisc team at RB. Sorgi sucks and the good Buckeye defense will expose him.

Tonight I'm liking Minnesota to beat Michigan. Other game is too close to call, but Minny has really got a good team and Michigan has played well vs bad teams, poorly against good ones. Minnesota is one of the good ones!!!! Take the Golphers tonight, but the REAL ACTION starts tommorrow!!!!

Geek, good point.
The Wisconsin play is more w/ my heart. I would like to see Ohio St. knocked out! I agree Sorgi is terrible and the Bander offense is suspect (aside from one good WR). Ohio St has just not impressed this year vs. lesser competition. It should be a good game.
I'll bet a beer to make it interesting!

Like the Gophers tonight as well. The Met should be rockin' for football. Michigan has to be down with the 2 losses. It has all but ruined the season and they have a tough schedule to go still. I might take Michigan in the Las Vegas Bowl this year.

Go Minny! tonight.
Other game... it's tough to go against a 23 game home win streak for the Bulls, and no I don't mean the Jordan Era Chicago Bulls either. The South Florida bulls are actually tough at home. Everyone knows about TCU because the are the darling of the conference. We know how well they play D, and that they like to run the ball to control and win games. I have watched them both play this year and expect to see a battle!
I will play USF small for the home field edge. All they need to do is win! Something they usually do at home. This is a spotlight game for a young program. They will want to impress on national t.v. It'll be old hat for the horned frogs!

G/L tonight.
Thanks for letting me use you thread. I figure as hot as you are, I'll get more views in your thread anyway.

Geek,
With you on UVa it's a good play Clemson has
other injuries besides Whitehurst. If he's
hobbeled back there they will tee off on him.
Al Groh will have UVa ready to play as it's
an important game with FSU on deck.

Thanks Stx and BigGames, Looking for a big day tomorrow with those games. Trying to get over 70% and this is the best week so far.

Starting out well tonight with Minny Running ALL OVER Michigan. The Wolverines have definately lost their bite. Navarre Blows and Funny thing is, people betting Michigan were like, "Minnesota hasn't beat anyone, how do you think they'll beat up on Michigan??". What they haven't seen is Michigan hasn't beaten anyone good either!!!! The two good teams they've faced, Iowa and Oregon, beat them rather easily!!!! Minnesota is for real and Michigan has been exposed, not only tonight, but all season long as a phony!!!

Well, I gotta scoot. Good luck everyone with your picks and bring home TONS of Cash!!!!
