5-5 this bowl season, very unspectacular. But this is where I separate from the pack. Separate the the Money from the Books!!!!
**Auburn -3 over Wisconisin. 5 words. Defense, Cadilac, Defense, Sorgi sucks
***Over 61 Minn/Oregon. TRIPLE PLAY!! Oregon can't stop anyone, horrible vs the pass and nobody can stop the Minnesota rushing attack but themselves. They will use that running game to bust big passing plays and score points a plenty. With that said, Minnesota Defense isn't much better. Even average offenses can put up big numbers. Best Bowl Play I've seen this year is the OVER, WAY OVER.
***S.Miss +2' over Utah. Double Play!! Defense will cause havoc, turnovers, Utah Defense not impressive, they don't pressure the qb, Allow 150 ypg on the ground, and that's right up S.Miss alley. Defense and the running game.
**Mizzou +3 over Arkansas. The Biggest trend I see is Arkansas just doesn't show for Bowls and big games and have been trounced this year in them. Very inconsistant and Jones is highly overrated as his coach Nut. I Like Brad Smith and what he can do on offense. The Mizzou D can pressure Jones, force him into turnovers and win outright. Watch, Arkansas will not show again.
**Over 54 BC/Col State. Neither team really has a defense, both should be excited to be playing in a bowl and offense that can put up big numbers, especially against some bad defense. Will be a good close game, and can't really side with either team, but the thing that sticks out the most is Bad Defense and in Bowls that usually equals points, and alot of them.
No good favorites today besides Auburn. But big card and big results to wrap up an AWESOME 2003.
