I think you may be the Bush buddy :missingte . I want bush to have as little power as possible, but you want Bush to take care of the gas problem. I think you have been listening to much Sean and Rush with your gf. You are probably that Marty guy who calls in on the Hannity show everyday.

There definitely is some unfair practice going on with OPEC, but that's because they got all these governments involved and their oil industries are nationalized. Do you think the collusion is at the local level with each gas station, or at a higher level?

Not that qualified to really answer that other then it's at the higher end. Certainly the local retailers are at the mercy of the distributors. More suspicious of our current gov't and OPEC

Gauging filters all the way down to the bottom...I have a friend that owns a gas station and he admittedly has increased his margin from about $0.10 to over $0.25 per gallon.

Heres the only possible form of price manipulation IMO.....oil companies often rely on the business template of just in time stockpiles meaning keep enough barrels on tap to cover demand....however the oil companies are now overstocking thier supplies but not making them available driving up demand as they keep the oil.In essence hoarding the oil.

\Get your head out of your ass,and quit lying to us.... how did this moron get into office.

His brother Jeb meddled with the 2000 election in Florida and after acting like a banana state for 4-5 weeks he was appointed by the Supreme Court. The 2004 election was stolen in Ohio.

The US is now like the old Soviet Union, although not a one party state democracy is a sham. Maybe you should attack Ohio to "spread democracy".

unless you go by the investigation conducted by the herald (liberal paper) which shows that if the recount would have continued as Gore wanted, Bush wouldve won by even more votes...

not to mention the MSM calling florida for Gore way before the panhandle was done voting, which caused many, many people to stay home, as evidenced by Bush winning Florida in '04 by 300,000 plus...but other than that, I guess Bush stole it :icon_conf

So the Florida Supreme Court interprets the phrase "seven days" (from the FL constitution) to actually mean seven days instead of seventeen, and it is because of meddling?

The key words here are "as Gore wanted".

way before = about 55 minutes.

How many? for every thousand, that would mean about 250 more votes for Bush than Gore (since Bush was carying the panhandle at around 61-36 percent with 3 percent for other candidates).

Are you aware of the felon purge list that put tens of thousands of legally registered voters on it so that when they showed up to vote they would get turned away ... and that the likelihood that a name on this list would vote Democratic was 5 to 1 ?? This list was produced at the request of Kathryn Harris who we all know was both the Florida Secretary of State and the Co-Chair of the GW Bush campaign in Florida. I put these links up in another thread but I think you (and others) should be required to view them.

Anyone who is aware of what was done by Harris, Jeb, etal. in 2000 and still claims that the election was not stolen is a complete pea-brained moron.

Perhaps the media gave Florida to Gore because they weren't aware of the 40,000 or so votes intended for Gore that never made it their destination.
