Florida rolls. They are the best team in the SEC by far. Florida will blowout every opponent remaining on their schedule.

Lets be honest, Florida hasn't faced a single good offense this year..the closest they have faced is LSU. Weak opponents- Hawaii, Tennessee, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Kentucky is why they have looked so impressive.

They haven't seen as good as running back talent and quarter back talent since the Georgia game last year. Florida also hasn't even come close to facing as physical defensive front as they will with Georgia.

This game will be an all out battle (physically brutal like the LSU-UF game last year), likely very close, and could go either way.

Sarcean, when you blow out lousy teams that's a sign of being pretty good. UF has covered the spread every week but one. Other than Alabama, who has UGA played? UF destroyed UT before anyone knew how bad they were. They played poorly vs Miami and still won by 3TDs, exposed LSU first when they were 6-0, and hung 60+ on a 5-2 Kentucky team that was #1 in the SEC in scoring D before that game.

UGAs early opponents were worse than UF's IMO - Ga Southern is worse than Hawaii, Central Michigan is worse than Miami, South Carolina and Tennessee are close, Arizona State is worse than Ole Miss. So tell me again about that schedule? UGA's run defense is suspect. They gave up 120 to Vandy. LSU's running game is every bit as good as UGA's and the Gators stopped it cold. Scott ran for 35yds vs UF. 145 vs UGA.

I was just pointing out UF hasnt faced a great offense this year like they will face against UGA...and if you want to get in to it (win) @Arizona State is alot more impressive then Ole Miss at home. UF only has to leave the state of Flordia 3 times this whole year and they dont have to play Alabama or Auburn. Run defense is suspect? Goergia still has the 6th run d in the nation. Vanderbilt has zero passing game so giving up 114 to Vanderbilt is not a big deal when you limit them to under 150 in the air.

Sure LSU and UGA may have a similar running game numbers. Where LSU and UGA differ dramatically is that UGA has a great passing attack to go with theirs. Stafford was rock solid as ever versus LSU and AJ Green is a beast. It was relatively easy for Flordia to shut down the LSU run offense when they barely had to worry about the pass (also we could get in to the fact they played them at the swamp versus @Death Valley).

Most people act like the Ole Miss AT HOME loss never happened just because they won decisively their last two games :ohno: This is the same team that lost four games last year with the same quarterback. Even if you don't think UGA will win outright 6 points is a hell of alot in a game like this for UF to cover. This is the type of SEC battle game that comes down to a single play or two (often luck). Enjoy this game as a fan, there is no telling what happens in a game like this.

Florida can't win more than 6 what? Games? You must be kidding.

And dogs in the SEC haven't done much of anything. Florida has played 3 SEC teams and covered against all of them. UGA pushed against 2 of their 4 SEC opponents, covered one and was a dog and Alabama covered their game against UGA. Clearly you dont know what you are talking about.

Sercean - there aren't a lot of great offenses out there outside of the big 12 (we think).

Until last week, UGA had not shown any potency on offense. They scored points on a weak CMU and Ga So team, but did little vs the Gamecocks, marginal vs ASU, and even though they had ydg - showed little propensity to score TDs vs UT.

To be fair, UF had stumbled and bumbled through the first 4-5 games, but they have scored less than 30ps only once this year and if they hadn't been so damn stubborn in their game plan vs Miami it would have certainly been worse. Since the Miami game, UF has progressively scored more and more and more. Assuming Florida continues this level of play, what has UGA done to show you they can stop Florida? Their wonderful defensive game vs LSU? Or was it giving up 41 to Alabama? They've done a good job stopping the poor offenses, and a not so good job of stopping the good ones. Only a couple of days until we find out.

This game will come down to Moreno, one way or the other. If they shut him down and keep him sub 100 yards, UF wins. If he finds a way to get yardage and make big plays like he did last year with 3 TD's, UGA wins.

I'll kinda give you that. The key is that UF's defense is lightyears better than it was last year. Especially the secondary. Moreno will get his yds - he's just good. But I don't necessarily know that it means UGA will win. If he's able to run like he did on LSU, then yes I agree UGA will likely come out. However, this game is way different than last year. Tebow is healthy for one. UF's defense is much better and deeper. Finally, UGA's defense is worse - likely much worse. The secondary is giving up huge ydg, and the DL is struggling to get to the QB.

According to David Pollack on ATL radio, UGA is planning on utilizing the same defensive style as last year - blitz blitz blitz. I think that will burn UGA to the ground this year. Like I said before - we'll see in a couple of days.

I completely forgot they covered against Ole Miss...at home. :103631605

Both teams have played 5 SEC games.

FL is 4-1 ATS in the SEC
UGA is either 1-2-2 or 1-3-1 in the SEC depending on the line in the TN game.

Forget about how good FL is or Who they played or UGA.. This game is pride and statement game for both teams.
UGA vs FL will be fun to watch, but FL will not win more than 6 again.
UGA underdogs, I will take it against anyone in the damn nation.
This game is physical hard hitting game!!! Prides prides... Forget about history or what so ever.... This is between two states Florida and GA.
UGA will go all out and so do Fl. Who get the ball last will win.

UGA underdogs are very scary..... Remember we are betting against the lines not the team to win ok??? How many points are they going to win???

Yeah people don't really like when homers post a completely biased thought. And as for the bold, that has nothing to do with this game at all, that's like me saying Alabama goes into Athens, bitchsmacks Georgia that means Florida will win by 2 TD's.

Obviously you are illiterate...which seeing as how you are from Atlanta it doesn't surprise me.

I said as good, not better. Want proof? How about some stats:
RUSHING OFFENSE G Att Yards Avg. TD Yards/G
1. Alabama 8 331 1643 5.0 18 205.4
2. Florida 7 259 1372 5.3 19 196.0
3. LSU 7 256 1258 4.9 13 179.7
4. Georgia 8 279 1380 4.9 17 172.5

5. Ole Miss 8 292 1296 4.4 10 162.0
6. Vanderbilt 8 291 1154 4.0 12 144.2
7. Auburn 8 328 1096 3.3 7 137.0
8. Arkansas 8 259 1031 4.0 9 128.9
9. Kentucky 8 253 1004 4.0 9 125.5
10. Miss. State 8 287 967 3.4 11 120.9
11. Tennessee 8 246 908 3.7 9 113.5
12. S. Carolina 8 274 802 2.9 5 100.2

hmmm - seems like LSU is AHEAD of UGA.

Dawgs win easily huh? How many points will you give me?

Tebow's hardware (NC and Heisman) would beg to differ with you. My shit is together. Which is why I'm hitting at such a high rate this year. Go back to pissing on bushes clown.
