where should I stay? what should we do?

I can stay at Harrah's in Biloxi for free for 4 nights. Harrah's in New Orleans doesn't have Saturday or Sunday

I can book a hotel in NO, or I can drive from MS. I know we'll want to spend some time checking out the city, maybe we can do that one day like Saturday

I know we can hang out a day or two in Biloxi too, beach , sites and casino

So, what do you think?

More importantly, do you have a source to buy good tickets? Maybe you or a friend can access some sort of Saint's fans ticket exchange?

Thursday night, Oct 5 at Tampa Bay

fly into Biloxi Tue the 3rd and on the 4th come across the Gulf in Gasser's boat. Will get you connected on Clearwater Beach for docking & hotel at decent rate

haha, that sounds awesome and would love to do it, but my multi-week vacation this year is already scheduled for August for Aruba

maybe I can talk Huskygal into a a long weekend in Tampa, I know she loves the area

But I know that pushing my luck for Patriots game

opening day meeting Pat Patriot in Foxboro
2nd weekend with Gasman in NO
(insert) 5th weekend with Barbanman in TB
6th weekend our annual journal to NY vs the Jets (the tickets are so damn cheap)

Damn, I better go back to work in the morning

I'd love to, but I just can't make that happen even if Huskygal gave her blessings. The Friday after the game we start out annual Columbus Week vacation in the Berkshires with two other couples. I would have to fly down Monday or Tuesday, and fly back Friday, which means I would be taking two consecutive weeks off during my busiest month outside of tax season. I just can't see me making that work, and I'm pretty good at getting things like that to work,

So week 5 is out, but something in November is doable.

my wife, my really cool hard core sports-fan daughter and her boyfriend for sure, so there are at least 4 of us

my buddy said he wants to come, and I'm guessing his wife will want to join us if he does (so 4 to 6 people, with 3 or 4 going to the game)
