I was surfing some of the better known gaming sites this morning and became upset at the patent lies being posted by the site managers.
1) SBR - They were Dos attacked because of Will Gatten and his industry lead fight against the hackers.
More than likely the web server at SBR broke down. There was no industry lead fight against the hackers...it was every man for themselves. BoDog, Pinnacle, WWTS, and Tradewinds wrote checks. Hollywood, Carib, Rio, Jazz/ABC, CRIS and Cascade upgraded their hardware and are still fighting the extortionists.
2) Gambling 911 (I hate to admit) - I should know better than to read this Bodog tout site but it reminds me of the National Enguirer.
Today he (Sting, Reality or Cole Turner are they the same person???) claims the "writing is on the wall" for books because the government is not renewing licensing. The TRUTH is that the license was for one year and the CR government is so screwed up they have not passed legislation for this year yet. If anything Costa Rica needs the books more than the books need CR.
3) Gambling 911 - "Books made less than 2% this past FB season". Who is smoking Maui Wowi????
Maybe this is what Bodog held but most places had great years. The big inet books held 5% or more and the DB books posted 3%+ for the year. Pinnacle probably did 1% but on astronimical volume. The only places that got hurt were the mid range inet books that do not have a big enough player base to overcome the advertising costs.
