the DDoS will sadly continue with all kinds of companies, the tcp protocol was never designated with malicious users in mind, it was suposed to be a "friendly" network

and in the WTO front.......don't see the US sweating at all, perhaps they should just retire from it, I don't think any resolution made by the WTO is actually bonding to the US in any way either financial or administrative, too bad that the UK/Australia didn't join this effort, they both have strong gaming legislations and I supose it would have made the US rethink its strategy regarding online gaming.

Betting websites blackmailed with child pornography

A new ploy involving child pornography is being used by extortionists targeting online betting firms with denial of service blackmail threats.

Blackmailers warned UK-based online bookmaker Blue Square yesterday that they would send out emails in Blue Square's name containing child pornography unless the company paid a demand for €7,000.
