After my drunk evening last night, wanted to say congrats on a great game to all my SC buddies here. I was rather impressed how you guys bounced back. The East is wide open and truth be told both squads are somehow in the playoff race.

Mark Richt sucks ass, which was evident in having a week off and troy on deck you have to be ready to play this game. Thompson played lights out.

USC Real.......your analysis of the USC O line was spot on. That was the difference in the game. Perfect call ole friend. May you have continued success.

Thanks for the kind words, Alba. It was a damn brawl that's for sure. Wet as hell. And I worried the delay would hurt us. Pruitt was blitz heavy, per usual. And the more we stopped the blitz, the more he blitzed. Sometimes it seemed like SOS knew exactly what Pruitt was thinking every play. But I will say, that pick DT threw late, I immediately texted my brother, "BALLGAME." Moreover, I just knew UGA would win if it went to OT. SoCar still has a long ass way to go. But this weekend was a huge confidence boost for the young secondary and defense as a whole. Hopefully at least your little man' steam won on Saturday so it wasn't a total bust. Damn what a football game this weekend.

Also, on that 4th down, DT got a shitty spot so it shouldn't have even been that close. But oh well, it worked out.

I think both of these teams better watch out for Mizzou this year. They look like the real deal to me.

I like Missouri this week...only thing that worries me is they have SC on deck and we all know what happened
LY.................I took Mizz last night -17....They should score every time they have the ball and Ind. def. is
worse than bad + they will be stepping up big time in competition + I don't think Ind's Off is all that going
against Mizz. defense. Also Ind. had 3 punts for 74 yards lw vs BG one was for 10 yards and another one was
for 24 yds and no they were not blocked lol. Give Mizz. a short field and they will torch you.............

I'm probably going to leave the Mizzou/Indy game alone this week. I liked Bowling Green last week because they were simply a more talented team than Indiana, even without their starting QB. But the thing about this week is line value. I hate bad defense like Indiana going on the road as TD or more favorites. But as almost 3 TD dogs it's a different story. It's not always about how bad your defense is, it's about how good your offense is in these types of games. Probably good enough to make this game interesting ATS with SC on board for Mizzou....

Georgia is still the team to beat in the SEC East in my opinion.....South Carolina showed up at Home against them which is what usually happens this millennium so that wasn't a surprise.......That said, Georgia still had great chances to win this game late........

Man I thought about all the good UGa fans when I watched the game on Sunday. I still dont know how Richt/Bobo call games. There does not seem to be any flow at all. Obvious spots where you should pound your lead dog and you put the QB in a bad spot. Should have been Gurley left, Gurley right, and Gurley up the middle. Especially on that last pick that UGa got when they returned it inside the 10. I dont get it. I continue to scratch my head with that guy. Nice as heck, but ....

Its brutal my friend. Always have high hopes and it just crumbles.....mainly because our coach can't get the players ready to play a big game. We are not out of it this year, but will need some help. I think USC will lose again. All the talent seems to go by the wayside too often. Very disappointed in the D as well. Can't keep the studs we recruit on the team in the secondary. Not having our verticals out there is killer as well. Season is far from over, and I think UGA will be there at the end of the year. Just can't have anymore slip ups.

I think Mizzou gets blown out against South Carolina. Mizzou this year reminds me of Mississippi state 2 years ago. Everyone thought they were going to have a great year until they played actual competition and began getting blown out.

Most everyone is giving Bobo/CMR grief for not pounding Gurley with 1st and goal after that pick. And I probably would too if I was a UGA fan. But hell, had they done that no doubt Gurley would have gotten in huge end zone. But then you give the ball back to SoCar, with plenty of time and a briefcase full of timeouts, and at that point SoCar was basically running it at will and they probably would have driven right down the field. Regardless, that's football.

I agree that SoCar probably (read: should) have another loss. Mizzou will be interesting. Auburn could be as well...

As I recall once they got rid of Todd Grantham everything was going to be fine. I still say the 50+ yard run that Gurley made that got called back changed the whole momentum of the game.
