OMFG its like the night before opening Sunday in the NFL for me.

flip a coin in game sevens but right now at this very moment I am leaning Dallas, Lightning and Blues.

Anyone have historical records for game seven home and away teams?
I think playing ties on all 3 games has to be +EV. Wouldn't be a shock to see any or all go to ot.
Personally I'm probably leaning SJ and Min - no idea on NYR and Philly yet, although I think in this situation you're always supposed to take the better goalie, and in that case scottcarter picked all 3...

I mean...San Jose seems like a mess right now. Vlasic hurt, niemi no confidence, etc...I would take the hot goaltender and ride it. Philly not the same on the road. Avs get it done with no OT...

Not sure if impacts your reasoning, but the Rangers beat the Caps in 7 in the 1st round last year. They lost in 5 to the Bruins in round 2.
