the refs always want a team to win to you guys, can't just enjoy a great pivotal finals game
I haven't enjoyed one in 20 years. It got bad with MJ in the 90s continued with Kobe and LAL and now Miami Heat. I am not a conspiracy theorist. I just understand the basics of business. The reality is, teams in certain situations receive certain favorable calls. Here is the bigger question, if you are the NBA, why does this consistently happen in your league? This doesn't happen in the NFL/MLB/NHL. Why then does this happen with NBA? I mean, imagine if the NFL said, we will not be awarding the first pick to the worst team in the league, but instead we are going to do a lottery and then whichever teams don't make the playoffs will be entered. Why is the NBA officiating constantly under scrutiny? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vaZIAXJJDKQ
I don't watch. Show me where I have posted in the NBA forum, I may have posted in their 5 or 6 times in the past 3 years or so. I still bet on the games. The NBA is one sport you don't have to watch to know spot situations. I had Miami in game 2 and game 4. Thought 1 and 3 are tough spots. Don't like game 5. If SAS wins game 5, I will hammer Heat Moneyline in Game 6.
In the main forum (I never post in sub-forums either) you post in NBA threads a lot, I think you replied to something I said yesterday about the Heat D vs the pick and roll.
Are you saying you don't post that the NBA is rigged on a regular basis? I mean that's cool, its your opinion but I'm not sure why the obsession over it. I also think the Lakers, Bulls, Heat get more calls (although SA gets calls too, so a lot of it isn't about marketing it is just about established good teams getting calls)
Also not sure why you said the NFL doesn't favor teams, you seen a Pats game lately? lol
Peyton when he was on the Colts too, god damn
How many Super Bowls have the Pats and Colts won in the last 8 or 9 years? One. Look at most of the NBA threads I have posted in, they are about arguments regarding LBJ and MJ and historical players vs current players. I can tell you, I watched Game 7 of the NBA ECF Finals at bar. Wasn't watching that closely, but there were 2 players that were with us that played in the NBA for a long-time, you know both of them. They both said Miami wins by 20+. I know a former NBA GM, who said there isn't a chance in hell Indy beats Miami. My point is people within NBA circles understand the business of the game. Why can't the average fan?
Why would you have an opinion historical players vs current players if you don't watch as you've said? I'm not saying there isn't a high tide some teams have to overcome but I think you overexaggerate it and it is also surprising how much you feel the need to point this out. I think boxing is heavily rigged, I don't point it out in every boxing thread. I like the sport and I like betting on it, that's about the extent of what I am going to post about it..
Do those 2 players and former GM you were with bet the games? If they don't they're idiots with the knowledge they possess...They must've had a lot of their BR on that game.
